I wonder if they’ll sign Sailor
I don’t think so. He would have directly signed with Redcliffe for the q-cup season otherwise. He clearly saw that Broncos are missing a 1 and a 6 that he could realistically get into pretty easily. He played pretty well statistically for someone who has been out for years with already limited NRL experience.I wonder if they’ll sign Sailor
How good is Sailor - potentially? Is he someone with a high ceiling ?I don’t think so. He would have directly signed with Redcliffe for the q-cup season otherwise. The Dolphins had also signed Hughes, Ponga, Smith, and others too. I’d say they’re a good shoot but I’ve thought that about 4 times alreadyKent on 360 tonight said it is believed the dolphins will announce the signing of Reece Walsh in the coming weeks.
Yet another missed opportunity from the Broncos if this is the case.
It is possible the dolphins had to pay overs to get Walsh however, he is still quite close with the likes of Carrigan and Haas, so one would have thought that would have been an attraction for him to come back if we were in discussions.
Not at all surprised but if they also land Munster they will easily have a better spine then us next year (if Munster gets released early).
0% chance Storm release Munster early. Absolutely will not happen.Kent on 360 tonight said it is believed the dolphins will announce the signing of Reece Walsh in the coming weeks.

Storm lodging complaint around the Dolphins actions re Munster

Can the Dolphins actually officially announce Walsh as it stands?
It looks like an attempted remake of the 2006 Broncos premiership team. Older pack, superstar 5/8th in Munster (Lockyer) if they get him, rising star in Walsh. (K. Hunt) if they get him, guy whos best work was as a utility Milford (Berrigan) at 9, if they get him. Then throw in O'Sullivan or Gamble in Perry's role of steering the pack around.Of course they're good players, I just don't think they're who I would've targetted, nor do I think they're worth the money that the Dolphins would've had to pay to get them from the Storm. The average age of their starting forward pack for Round 1 next season (prior to the Gilbert signing) is 32.
Jesse Bromwich - 33
Mark Nicholls - 33
Kenny Bromwich - 31
Felise Kaufisi - 30
What's the plan, have a solid pack for 1-2 years and then have everyone retire at the same time?
Isaako’s a winger. Always has beenIt looks like an attempted remake of the 2006 Broncos premiership team. Older pack, superstar 5/8th in Munster (Lockyer) if they get him, rising star in Walsh. (K. I don't know if lightning will strike twice for Bennett here though. Or where Isaako fits in.
Gamble couldn't steer a car. No way he plays 7 for them.It looks like an attempted remake of the 2006 Broncos premiership team. there been plenty of talk that they see Isaako as a fullback (probably because we don't and Bennett like to go against everything we do right now)
so if that's the case, they could be loooking for a halves pairing of Walsh/Munster; Walsh/Milf; maybe even Milf/Munster ... and i think any of them would be a bad move, because it would repeat the mistakes Bennett made with Milf, by trying to turn someone into a game manager when it isn't their natural game
