“They won that game”.
Yeah I'm not clicking anything Fox this yearYou should check out the following article from Alex McKinnon on Fox Sports, really good read.
this is the topic:
TOO MANY QUESTIONS OVER BRONCOS BACK-TO-BACK BID
I’ve never seen a premiership team have more questions around it than the 2026 Broncos.
I’ve never seen a title team win the comp and then the next year people are still questioning the coach.
boils the whole issue down in this sentence:
But the reality is, I don’t think Brisbane’s actually reached their potential yet. And with a full and healthy squad, the Broncos in 2026 could be pretty bloody scary.

That is actually epic and without a doubt erases any negative thoughts about him or his relationship/ideas relating madge...I'm going to put this in here as it doesn't need it's own thread ... but Alex Glenn has reportedly been "dragged" into the "Madge social media furore".
Glenn was embroiled in a Fox League social-media graphic that highlighted comments from Mark Geyer about Madges status at the club.
In the post, Geyer said: “What I do keep hearing a lot is Madge’s name being mentioned ... but not in positive ways”.
in the caption below the graphic it said: " “Pressure is beginning to build around Broncos coach Michael Maguire. Will we see Brisbane go back-to-back this year?”
Glenn liked the caption.
Glenn has released a statement
“Any suggestion that I was expressing negativity towards Madge is an absolute joke and completely unfounded,”
“I am a massive advocate for Madge and only liked the post because it asked the specific question, ‘Will we see Brisbane go back to back this year?
“I liked the post only to affirm my support on that specific point.
“All our fans know that no-one cheers harder for Madge and the Broncos than I do.”
“If you are getting so wound up and trying to create a divide around myself and the club, you are looking in the wrong space,”
“Everyone knows I support Madge and have always loved that he was coming to this club because hard work always beats talent.
“If you are having a cry or a whinge that players are being trained too hard, it’s not the players complaining, it’s the media outlets trying to create a story.
“If you are whingeing about training too hard in the professional realm, then you are in the wrong industry, clearly.
“For me, there’s no complaining about hard work, you have to train your arse off to be champions and the boys proved it last year.
“They dominated the comp for a reason.
“Don’t go trying to create a divide between me and the club and Madge, because it ain’t gonna work, I support him through and through.”

Bro - you're sounding a little too convincing/accurate... I'm starting to suspect you actually are Riccio...Riccio "Yeah I can see the words quoted and hear what he's saying... but are we really buying this guys?
He's quoting Mark Geyer... If you're asking me who I believe between a NSW origin legend and some guy that played a couple rep games for the Kiwis then I'm going for the guy based in Western Sydney all day.
I'm here in Sydney and I'm hearing the same things as Geyer... it's mostly coming from other journos, but we're all hearing it from somewhere... and clearly something stinks in Queensland."
Bro - you're sounding a little too convincing/accurate... I'm starting to suspect you actually are Riccio...
The whole club should be boycotting the media in any form.As frustrating as it is, lesson learned hopefully. The quote from Geyer could have been 90% positive but the media will always focus the 10% negative and frame it so that Alex was liking that part. Knobs
