Tim Sheens would be the perfect fit for Brisbane.
He is a creative coach who will actually teach and inspire players about the game. A high quality coach, who knows the game, is essential.

Bruno's idea of investing lots of money into young players who aren't quite ready for the big time is very flawed. I mentioned in another post somewhere that the game is about 'now'.
In the old days of loyalty and long term commitment to clubs the idea of nurturing juniors was the way to go.

The moron, Cullen, doesn't appear to have noticed that times have changed. Why invest time, money and patience into a player who, when ready, is likely to jump ship.

Get rid of Cullen immediately because he is a complete idiot.
Ivan is out of his league.

Get Sheens.

+1 Except Sheens

well, do you think he would come back and coach if we got rid of Bruno?

Unfortunately, and baffling is the fact that Bruno will still be here long after Ivan has taken the fall for what ultimately has been brewing for the past couple of years...As much as Ivan has to take responsibility for what has happened, I still feel really sorry for the guy. A couple of players in first grade should be ashamed of themselves for the way they have acted covertly to undermine him...They should have followed Papa Wayne to Kogarah rather than hang around with the aim of destabilising the club which gave them their start in first grade...gutless.

So who is actually on the board these days? Which people are actually continuing to employ Bruno and let him run this club into the ground?

Post-Bennett this club has been exposed as having the worst administration in the game.

No other club in Australian sport could be as dumb as the mob running the Broncos. Only a club with a moron like Cullen running the show could orchestrate a plot whereby the club's heart and soul was allowed to walk out with a year on his contract without the club having any successor in place. After months and months of Cullen banging on about the importance of a 'succession plan' we all find out the 'plan' was some bizarre attempt to get Bellamy to agree to join us two years into the future, therefore making his current employment untenable. The fact that the people running this club believed that to be an acceptable strategy tells you everything about why the club has gone to the dogs so fast. We must have some real quality dimwits in charge.

Let's not even go over the hilarity that was the Alhambra fiasco. Months of negative headlines, the club's credibility in tatters, and for what? To protect three players, one who went on to play the grand total of one more game for the club, another bloke who stayed for another year before jumping ship, and Thaiday. 2/3 will be gone within a year of the incident but we are now stuck with Cullen fining blokes 50K in a hopeless attempt to recoup all the credibility that the club lost when Cullen threw the club's morals out the backdoor to win one finals match. Thankyou Bruno for another great long-term decision.

Cullen has to go. Compare him to a Searle or Greenburg - he's an embarrassment. Piss off!

Without doubt the decision which spelt the end of any chance of player respect of managment at the Broncos.

It seems like Cullen has inherited the job rather than worked for it. Because it looks like he doesn't work at all.

Someone said that Bruno throwing money at youngsters is flawed, absolutely it is, the older these kids get, the more money they believe their entitled too. (e.g. 3mil for 3 seasons of AFL anyone?)

It's majorly flawed, everything this club does now doesn't seem to work correctly.

A major re-shuffle is in order to keep this club competitive.. and I think the board have no idea about it.

I think Mal Meninga would be a terrific coach at the Broncos

Its not hard to be a coach when you get a year to prepare for 3 games and every players a star

Thats not much of a point to make. Players are in a market and if we decide to pay young players much less than their market value to try to keep their heads from exploding the next 10 clubs lining up for a contract signature will waltz in and sign them up on big bucks.

That is deadset the post of the year.

All during that week I was saying get rid of those 3, I'd rather lose, even to the grubby Storm, than have those 3 still playing for us. Sometimes, upholding fine Broncos principles is better than winning a game. All I'll add is that game they were kept for because they were such key players, we didn't even win it. Complete, massive fail Bruno.

Now Clinton has been dudded as he was, no wonder no-one's happy at this club.

Piss off Bruno, and don't let the door hit you on the way out.
