OFFICIAL The Kevolution - (Walters new coach of the Broncos)

We shouldn't even consider moving Lodge on. Leave Carrigan where he is, TPJ is not nearly as consistent as Lodge and when Lodge and Haas are on the field together we eat the metres up the middle. Two big bodies with big motors. Why the **** are we even talking about weakening our strongest positions in front row and lock?

Offa should be the one if you are looking to move someone on but even then from memory it's only been his time under seibold that he really went to shit

Lodge is not needed.. We have Haas and Pangai that can fill that void. Those two started at prop together in a trial match and looked unreal rumbling up the field. We are already paying big money for Haas and Pangai so there is no need to also have Lodge and Ofa signed on big money too.. Especially when they play like they are worth 400k max
We're definitely NOT paying big money for Haas. In fact he's close to the lowest paid forward in the team.

When was the last time offa had a cracking game that made you think **** yeah offa!

2018 was prolly his best season but seems to have regressed under seibold could either move him on or see how he goes under different coaching
Either way I'd move him before lodge

People are forgetting how good Lodge was last year, and how he was literally playing with an undiagnosed broken leg this year. The theory that the game is now too fast for him is based on false pretenses.

Kevie has identified the things that needs to change, I just hope he knows how to make the changes happen.

As for players being moved on, it's not just a matter of getting rid of the shitters, it's about getting rid of people where we won't need to pay a chunk of their salary cap. With that being said, Lodge and Offa are probably two people that could probably find another club paying their full salary or at least very close to it. Getting rid of someone like bird isn't going to help much as we will probably be paying most of his salary anyway, and there probably aren't many players out there better than bird at $400k (assuming he can play a game).

Based on this, the big contract players who are more likely to be able to find a role somewhere else are probably Offa and lodge, and then behind that probably Isaako, Macca, TPJ, Oates and then you have Milford / Bird but most clubs won't take them anywhere near their asking price.

Then after all of that you need to look at who we could bring in. Now things always change and players get released etc. But there aren't many that truly stand out for us to target. I'd argue we need 1 or 2 hard forwards and then a quality fullback. I still think a Milford and Dearden halves combo could be very strong.

Even with Wayne. Everytime he's had a chance to stand up as a starter he's failed. He's average and fucking stupid. He can go.

Tpj should be sitting on an edge making 100-130ish meters a game, 5ish offloads, and terrorizing centers and halves out wide. That's his best position with Carrigan, Lodge, Haas, and potentially McGuire and/or Asiata in the middle rotation.
