Tottenham have signed Luca Modric for 20 million

Flamini doesn't resign and go to Juve or Milan.

According to an Italian paper, Flamini has signed a five year deal with Milan. Not sure how reliable that is.

I'm also not 100% sure if Spurs have signed Modric or not either, apparently it's just reports at the moment, nothing concrete. Will surprise me if does go to Spurs, because he is one of the best young players around, and i'm sure he has many clubs chasing after him in that top tier/world class bracket.

Tottenham could be a huge chance to kick the Pool out of fourth if they get Karmeni as well and keep hold of Berbatov.

And Ning, if that is true about Flamini it is a huge buy for Milan he is a superb player and will look even better in the Serie A. Arsenal have Merida and Diaby in waiting so it isn't like they are short of central midfielders even though he was great for them this campaign.

Personally I still think Utd are certainties to win the whole thing

*washes mouth out*

Blasphemy [icon_thumbs_do, never count out a side with Messi in it when he is going to be ready for 90 minutes not 60. also don't count out the Pool they can do anything in Europe either brilliant or shambolic. Chelsea also can't be counted out obviously either with the way they can grind out results tbh this is a really even last four even after the first legs. GO BARCA!!! I have a good feeling about Wednesday morning!

Trust me it's not something I want to happen, it's just a feeling I have

And on tonights game, I think a draw is on the cards. 0-0 or 1-1 IMO

How come that Ronaldo dude ain't playing? He's good to watch.

Saving him for Wednesday, the big game Rock. Plus he had to do extra penalty training all week and is a bit tired [icon_wink [icon_wink

What do you boys think of our new signing for 2008/09 the Croatian Luka Modric from Dinamo Zagreb for 20m pounds [icon_ee , all the reports sound good but I haven't seen him play. A lot of money so he better be good.

Luka Modric is something special.

I haven't seen him play myself, but i've heard from a number of people who know their football that he is all class. One of three brilliant youngsters Croatia have coming through.

[icon_lol1.

Kameni is an excellent keeper, but i don't think he'll give them the quality to contend with the top four.

Besides we'll win the title next season, so dunno who'll they kick out of fourth. [icon_wink [icon_razz1

_woohoo_ Staying up! Staying up! Staying up! :D

Survival at last!

And you've deserved it too. I've actually quite enjoyed watching Sunderland play this season.

As Kameni plays in La Liga, I've seen a lot of him and i can confidently say he will go on to be one of the best in the world, he's brilliant and any world class team should be happy to have him.

Not disagreeing with that mate.

Just saying that Spurs will need a much better midfield and defence if they want to contend with the top four in England.

Word is Sven could be leaving Citeh, with big Phil Scolari to replace him after Euro 2008.

Obviously Thaksin is like Abramovich in his expectations for instant returns on investment. Man City have done pretty well with a completely new team and new backroom add to that the in grown tendency of City to fail, I think Sven did a good job and they would be silly to sack him. Having said that I really rate Scolari and think he would make a success out of just about any job he had a go at.

GO BARCA FOR THE MORNING!!!!!!!! I am pumped! I am probably just setting myself up to be deflated (its happened a lot in the CL for me as a Barca fan) Just feel like Henry is ready to go and has a great record at Old Trafford along with Messi ready to go for 90 minutes and Puyol back.

Not that I don't rate Scolari, but that's a terrible decision IMO

Rumours are Milligan is set to sign for the Gunners. Surely he is a fair way off that level!! Think he would struggle to make most mid-table squads.

Obviously he would barely play. Wouldn't be a great move IMO. He needs to be playing first team football. He needs to move out away from the utter dross that is the a-league but I don't think that bench-warming for the Arse and occassionaly running out against a bunch of 17 year olds in the reserves is going to do him much good.

Absolutely shocking performance by Nani tonight, headbutts Neill and then takes a dive himself. Got what he deserved in the form of a red. The Spammers were terrible but against 10 men [icon_thumbs_do

Pretty obvious they tanked it. They owed United from last season. Just have a read about what Curbbishley said in the press about how Man U deserved to be champions.

Also, Wigan will tank it against Man U next week with Brucey in charge. Its the whole reason why Ferguson put out such a woeful side against Chelski, he knew he had these last two guaranteed.

Dunno about that ... have you seen how West Ham have been playing of late? Last nights performance was typical of how shite they've been for weeks now.
