Alot of Storm fans in that forum calling for Munster to be dropped. I kinda agree, but I wonder if Bellamy would actually do it.Yes indeed

I think the thinking is anyone else can't be any worse. They just need someone who can tackle and run the ball. Something which Munster cant seem to do atm. Maybe Wishart?Who would they put there? I haven't been arsed looking at their squad, I prefer to make generalised sweeping ill-informed statements about them. Didn't they consider Meaney at 6 at one time or am I mistaken?
Edit:
Imagine having a spine of:
(1) Fullback/winger
(6) Winger/centre
(7) Fullback
(9) Hooker
And if that doesn't work, I'm sure Bellamy yelling at them more will fix it!
Sorry I couldn't stop laughing at this

Melbourne chair and majority owner Matt Tripp has sought to ease the pressure on coach Craig Bellamy by insisting that everyone in the club needs to take some responsibility for fixing their current plight, not just the head coach.
Bellamy, one of the most successful coaches in rugby league history, finds himself in uncharted territory after the Storm slumped to their sixth successive defeat at the weekend - a chastening loss to South Sydney.
Bellamy was remarkably asked immediately after that loss whether he had buy-in from his side, prompting captain Harry Grant to interject and suggest it was a silly question.
Tripp also insisted Bellamy was not to blame for the club’s current woes and revealed he had spoken to the coach and offered any support he needs to drag the side out of their current malaise.
“I had a good chat with all our coaches after the game,” Tripp said.
“It wasn’t a crisis conversation; it was what can we do to help you fix this? There has been lots of conversations over the course of yesterday and heading into today.
“Everyone understands that the situation needs to be rectified. It’s on the club as a collective. It’s not on Craig. No-one works harder than Craig.”
Bellamy has a remarkable record as coach of the Storm, having led the club to three premierships and five grand final wins since taking over in 2003.
During that time, he has missed the finals only once - in 2010 after the club was found to have breached salary cap rules and stripped of their points.
That year aside, the finals has been the minimum expectation. After starting this year with successive wins, the finals look a fait accomplishment yet again.
However, the Storm have slipped immeasurably over the past six weeks and there are genuine fears that the finals may be beyond them unless they can quickly address their shortcomings.
Bellamy vowed to make changes after Saturday night’s loss to Souths but his options are limited given halfback Jahrome Hughes joined the casualty ward - he will miss this week’s game against the Dolphins with concussion.
The Storm should have second rower Ativalu Lisati available again while Shawn Blore is another week into his return and should press for a starting spot.
The changes won’t matter unless there is a dramatic change of attitude given the defensive lapses that have marked their performances in recent weeks - the Storm have conceded points for fun in their defeats.
“I think it’s fair to say that we haven’t experienced a run like this in a long time,” Tripp said.
“Everyone in the club, not just the players and coaches, is acutely aware that they need to lift and put whatever level of support they can to drag ourselves out of this.
“It’s uncharted territory. No one is enjoying it. It needs to be fixed. It all starts with working hard. The guys have been training incredibly and it hasn’t translated into game day.”
While the Storm have slipped to 16th on the ladder, the quality of their spine in particular means pundits and punters alike have been reluctant to write them off.
Penrith’s remarkable revival last year - they were last midway through the year but still qualified for the finals - has also put people on notice.
“We can’t keep looking at the comparisons with Penrith,” Tripp said.
“You can’t click your fingers and say we can do what they have done. We have to knuckle down and fight our way out of it.”
Is that a "full backing of the board" I see... didnt realise it was getting that dire down southArticle not paywalled for me - so posting content, remove if need be though.
Appears Bellyache has the full support of the board! That wasn't on my bingo card this year!
I don't think they've worked out that being the beneficiary of 6 agains are tied to milking.Have they come undone because of the 6 again's?
Last year Penrith were in a similar spot but you could see them turning it around.
I wonder if having Sua at fullback is causing some of the issues out wide due to poor communication or number spotting. Combine that with their undersized pack causing their middle to condense.
