It all comes down to where Madge rates Delouise Hoeter. I get the impression that he's below Shibasaki on the pecking order and I'm not convinced that Madge views Mariner, Karapani or Arthars as viable options at this stage.

If things go according to plan, I'd expect an announcement on the Broncos website that Shibasaki has been signed till the end of 2026. 2025 would be the dev deal, 2026 is where he earns NRL money.

Looks to be something happening... Shibasaki at the Broncos season launch... I don't think T&T players get an invite to that

I was wondering the same... I think Jamal is north qld though isn't he?

Felt like that was part of the reason we lost him... 18yr that spent his whole time up in Nth Qld wasn't suddenly going to head to SEQ when you're a stud and wanted by multiple teams.
