Time for Carney to fire up

Smith kinda has a point thou. The Bloke looks to be a friend of Carney's and if so and he hasnt laid chargers then its purely skylarking and something alot of Young blokes proberly do.

This has been blown way out and 90% of the reason is because it was Carney involved. Me and mates used to play tag with lighters when younger because we thought at the time it was funny. Unless chargers are laid drop the story.

No he doesn't have a point, regardless of if they are "friends"(and when it comes to friends not all are going to lay charges and there are ways of making it so you don't get charged) doesn't change the fact its a stupid and dangerous decision to do it in the first place, one he could easily decided NOT to do especially considering he has a past history of dumb things and trying to rebuild his career instead he decided to and brought it on himself.

This goes beyond just peeing in public or being blown way out out of proportion, this is DANGEROUS behaviour, something you shouldn't downplay regardless of if you think other people do it, that doesn't make it ok, only makes them idiots. Decisions in life have consequences, this is a perfect example of what can happen when you make dumb decisions.

No this is an example of some mates getting on the turbs on new years doing something they will regret down the track and just 1 bloke getting the shit purely because he is a Sports Star.

its fine to sit here and complain about something someone does in the spot light if you yourself lived a perfect life. How many of us could do something stupid in Sydney. Go to NQ and still have it resting on your shoulders. For most of us it would be a simple 'New Home" we make a mistake again its like its the first time. Regardless of where he goes and what he does its never going to be a new start and "I" cant help but half feel for him.

The thing is though, he IS in the spotlight, so he needs to be very careful with what he gets up to.

Yes he does need to be. But its not him who says "I wanna be in the spotlight shit on me everytime i make a mistake". There is to much "We made him famous we can destroy him" going on. Its a damn shame that these guys cant just entertain us Friday-Monday and be just Kids Midweek/offseason

And before someone goes "Oh but what about the kids who look up to them"

Simple. Stop reporting on every little thing a player does and the kids wont see it.

The only problem with that logic is that he puts himself in the position of playing a professional sport and for a sporting club that requires certain standards from their players given the fans, sponsers they depend on. In otherwords he puts himself in that position by choice because he benefits from it financially, if he wants to just be a kid when his not playing and allowed to play Rugby League then go play for a local Rugby League side, but certain standards are expected of professional players both on and off the field which is only reasonable to expect.

But the players are not the ones going "hey kids look what im doing" Its the media going "hey kids look what your players are doing" If the media stopped reporting on the crap then it wouldnt be a problem to anyone.

Yes the media report the actions of players (which funnily if they didn't cause wouldn't be able to report on)just like they do with regular events, entertainment and the weather, that is naturally the business they are in and they are going to continue reporting events regardless so the reality is be it now or into the future a player like Carney has a responsibility to promote the best image for the club and their sport on and off the field regardless, their career's for their clubs don't just exist on the field.

And you know why we hear about Players in the USA just straight up going insane. because of to much Media Crap. And Australia is headed that way. A Bloke pisses in public he is all over the paper its not right.

Carney got drunk with mates and did something stupid. Its not worthy of the Media attention.
