Timmy Smith

mmmm after seeing the way he was carrying on out on the turps the other night I'd still be pretty happy to see the back of him.

Good on ya, and people have a go at the Australian media for this kind of stuff.

+1

This is the kind of shit comment that attracts media vultures.

I'd be agreeing with you guys normally but IMO this guy has no sanctuary here. I've vocally opposed him from day 1, he is an A-grade douchebag and shouldn't be anywhere near a Broncos jersey. Will be happy to see the back of him because I guarantee you there is an 'indecent' of some kind around the corner. He doesn't have bi-polar disorder, he has a dickhead disorder.

So your not even willing to give the bloke a chance?

Three or Four weren't enough for him? Plus numerous others which I have no doubt were swept under the carpet.

So you have some kind of agenda against him, ok.

I'm still interested in hearing other people's opinions on how Tim Smith will do here.

Some blame must go to the Eels as well for not handling it right. New club, New State, New beginning.

and NNN, i hope he shows what he can do and shines when needed. I also hope Lockyer and wallace both play Origin and Hunt/Smith can show just what Brisbanes future is.

I think and hope that Smith is here to stay.

I don't think we've bought him purely as backup as a lot of people have been speculating. I think Ivan rates him highly and will try and squeeze him into the side a fair bit this season.

Obviously Wallace and Lockyer are rightfully first choice, but having Tim Smith waiting in the shadows can only be a good thing.

I think Smith plays with an entirely different style to Lockyer and Wallace in that he is far more eccentric in his decision making and what not. I believe that's something we tend to lack on the field and he can add a different dimension to our play.

well yeah there is some master plan in action here.

has Locky put pen to paper for 2010?

As opposed to how most 23 year olds carry on out on the turps? Pfft at least he wasn't lighting peoples legs on fire.

Must admit that Smith plays more off the cuff a la Alfie (don't crusify meeee) than what Locky plays. And Wallace has not yet grown as a player to go beyond what Lockyer's following as a game plan. This is Locky's genius. He can follow a game plan to the letter and just try and stop him from winning. Impossible most times but throw in that erratic? nature that Smith possesses and we have a winning combo. Just don't ask me where Wallace goes because he has to be playing 80 mins as well.........

and there lies the problem. Brisbane has to many halves.

No room for him at Hooker Mc C is doing an awesome job.

Always been a big fan of him. If he keeps his nose clean, all the best to him.

I'd rather we have the problem of too many halves, than not enough icon_smile

Really good mate.

Sounds pretty levelheaded in this interview and quite grateful for the opportunity at the Broncos.

I've got high hopes for him, on his day he is a sensational player.

FTR, ning. I agree with what you have said here icon_thumbs_u
