and there lies the problem. Brisbane has to many halves.

I'd rather we have the problem of too many halves, than not enough icon_smile

Isnt it awesome how times can change?

That is the thing - with the current comp the way it is there is no room for a 3rd half... with Locky staying I don't see a permanent role here... if Wal gets injured he's the back up but if he isn't then there is no point. He'll probably move on sooner or later....

All I know for sure is he has been absolutely sensational with his attitude and training etc at Easts pre-season. I think he is really out to prove that he can get back to his best and if he does and keeps his nose clean off-field I look forward to watching him play no matter what jersey he is wearing. However the Broncos are going to have a hard time keeping all of Locky, Wallace, Hunt and Smith.

Exactly, and regardless Smith will be unlikely to outmuscle Wallace for the starting halfback role and force him out of the club, so if Smith has ambitions of a quick return to full time first grade it'll be at another club. He'll use the Broncos as a chance to market himself to other clubs and then move on.

Throw an injury into the mix and things can change quickly.

Hence why I said unlikely, not impossible.

it was the Knee that put wallace out wasnt it? Never know he could suffer from the same thing Michaels has

Ankle. He broke it.

Disagree. This year he'll spend in Q-Cup and filling in during Origin. Locky will retire at the end of 2010 and we'll see Smith in the 6 and Wallace in the 7 from 2011 onwards IMO.

Henjak might not rate Hunt and those rumours might just be that - rumours.

Hunt isnt good enough it seems. we didnt play him in the finals, so when will we? Thurston, **** Yeah!

When does Wallace's contract run out? and is pen to paper for Lockyer?

Pretty stupid to throw a 20 year old in to play halfback in a preliminary final. Huge gamble. Given how the game turned out with the Storm being at their dominant best, I think it's a good thing he wasn't risked and had his confidence destroyed.

Attack
1. Lockyer
6. Smith
7. Wallace
9. McCullough

Defense
1. Whoever from Wing/Centres
6. Smith
7. Wallace
9. McCullough

Lockyer defends outside of the ruck. IT'S LEFT FIELD FUCKERS DO IT

Think..

Defense see's Wallace and Smith on one side of ruck, Lockyer lurking on other side to chime in as first reciever if he calls for the opportunity. 30m out.. WHAT DO WE DO THEY ASK? Nothing. Its unstoppable.
