NFI why Taylor was on the wing on 2 potentially try scoring opportunities.

Those opportunities wouldn't have existed without Taylor. He made them himself.

+1 I love the way Taylor uses his speed and size against the smaller centres and wingers. I reckon he should be a centre for the Rabbitohs next year!

I loved the chip and chase he did. Felt sorry for Dugan tho. If Taylor could pass then maybe we would have scored

Riverfire has won out in our household as have a function 33 storeys up on the new deck at work above the Karilpa Bridge, with the Broncos on inside on the 5x5 metre big screen in the background, best of both worlds....I think eusa_think eusa_think

Mmmmm maybe not so wide out in the winger position. I'm interested to see how he will go at the Souths actually. I must say - looks like we're getting the best out of him when we need him though.

Whatever we do, I hope Taylor doesn't keep playing in the centres or so far wide. It's becoming too predictable. 2 off the ruck on the left is fine, just let Thaiday do his thing on the right and let Taylor do his thing on the left. NFI why Taylor was on the wing on 2 potentially try scoring opportunities.
Especially when I had money on Falou scoring more tries than Monaghan!

Re: Titans Vs. Broncos - Build Up Thread

Again, will have to miss out on venturing to Skilled unfortunately. Should be a cracker, but if we play like we did last night we'll get rolled by about 30. Maybe more.

Re: Titans Vs. Broncos - Build Up Thread

Getting me some tickets this morning and venturing down the M1.

Not getting too cocky but if Brisbane manage to win this weekend will they play at Lang Park the following week? I know we were in a similar situation last year. Think we were meant to play Canberra before the Warriors beat Melbourne at the death and that meant we had to play the Storm. Do we need to hope one of the top teams lose their final or will we get to host regardless if they win/lose?

Re: Titans Vs. Broncos - Build Up Thread

Two highest ranked winners get a week off. Other two get home region games. Two hghest ranked losers play in those and bottom two losers are gone.

Confidence is such a funny thing. You can loose it as quickly as you find it.
I think the winner next week will depend on which Titan and Broncos teams show up.
Guarantee it will be a lot closer than our game against Manly so don't go slapping yourselves on the back to soon.
Regardless who wins, it will be a classic game and indicative of Queensland League.

Agree on that.

However I see some similarity in this game to the last time we played the Titans, except roles reversed. Broncos had a number of injuries, had come off a demoralising defeat by Souths and were a bit shaken. Meanwhile Titans were going along nicely and looked very confident.

Titans haven't had as bad form as the Broncos did in the lead up, but I think their form has been patchy at best. And the Broncos are playing with a lot of composure defensively. Although their attack is ordinary other than the flogging of Penrith 4 weeks ago.

Re: Titans Vs. Broncos - Build Up Thread

Well if Canterbury and St George win their games and we can knock off the Titans we should host a home final. *crosses fingers*

Re: Titans Vs. Broncos - Build Up Thread

We're guaranteed a home final if we win in week 1. Any south east Queensland final will be at Suncorp Stadium as it is the largest in the region.

So if Canterbury and St George win, and Titans win, the Titans will play in week 2 at Suncorp Stadium against Manly/Melbourne.

Conversely if the Broncos win, then we play at Suncorp Stadium against Manly/Melbourne.

Re: Titans Vs. Broncos - Build Up Thread

Tickets are on sale now to members of both clubs through ticketek, but it is asking for your unique code??? Would this be my member number on my season ticket?? If anyone knows that would be great.

Re: Titans Vs. Broncos - Build Up Thread
