--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

todd carney has been interviewed by police for the willfull damage to cars in golburn last weekend.

carney was alledged to have been intoxicated, and caught jumping on the bonnets of cars.

what a great start to a new career at atherton roosters.

What a stupid person if this is true, some people never learn I guess.

I don't have one, it's a rumor so far.

Where did you hear about this rumour?

Well there we go, it's on sky news now apparently.

No, no, Toddy. It's jump IN the car.

That was his last chance, hes a prefect example of a drunk...... LOSER.

No way back for him now I think, his career is done and dusted

Glad to see the back of this absolute waste of space.

How many chances does one player need. Farkin muppet.

It used to be funny, now it's just sad. He pissed away a $400,000 contract and now he's pissing away a, what, $100 a game contract? The demon drink really has it's hold on him.

Canberra let him get away with too much.

And he thought he could get away with anything

Seriously what an idiot! His current NRL ban is only for 1 year - all he had to do was take that one year to go away, sort out his issues with the drink and stay out of trouble, keep relatively fit and he would have walked back into an NRL contract next year - now I serioulsy doubt anyone will touch him.

What a tool. He obviously needs a lot of help. Hopefully no one will sign him up so he can learn his lesson.

Agree Rock, he definitely needs some serious help and footy should be one of the last things on his mind in the short-term. The problem is that like anyone with drink or other subtance abuse issues he has to first admit he has a problem and wants to get help. The Raiders tried to get him help and he refused it, while he continues he refuse that he needs help he will just continue on this pattern of self-destructive behaviour. I'm not sure who or how but someone needs to get him to face up to the cold hard truth of his situation and soon before he causes himself or someone else some major harm.

The Rock said:
It's not about "teaching him a lesson" it's about getting this bloke some help to get him off the booze. All of this is obviously alcohol driven.

I agree. But maybe if no one signs him, he'll realise that he should really pull his head out of his arse and go to rehab.

As Flutterby said, he shouldn't really focus on footy at the moment because his alcohol addiction is a much bigger issue.
