He is everywhere!!!! Looks to be doing a great job but seriously every time I watch a League show he is on there. What is doing??

I've heard those rumours and he looks like he would do a good job but until then get off my tv.

He's a ****wit. Got his nose firmly planted up Gallop's arse. Everyone bangs on about him being this almighty CEO but I'm yet to see any evidence of this. All he refers back to was the fact that the Bulldogs bounced back from the salary cap scandal, and he wasn't even at the club then. He's all talk IMO.

Pretty much agree Jeb.

All he does is whore the Dogs out to whatever movie promotion he can and makes himself available to the media at all times. The media loves him, so they talk him up - just like Ennis. It still makes me laugh how he's considered an 'Origin' player by the media.

I personally think Greenberg is a positive light for the Doggies as he is determained to regain Canterbury's family reputation

But does it help them RETAIN players? It seems like a lot of juniors or players have left as soon as they could while nuffies like Turner & Wright are bought in their place.

And you don't have to whore yourself out like the Dogs have to be successful. What a stupid thing to say. He talks about the Bulldogs as a brand, if he wanted to retain the integrity of the brand he'd find something less transparent.

I think it's all smoke and mirrors. All flash no substance.

I don't see the Broncos CEO whoring himself around and we seem to be doing well on and off the field. I feel the best type of CEO is the one you rarely ever hear from.

I accept that Greenberg has probably done good things for the Bulldogs, but he irks me.

It's not so much that he's always on tv, but it's what he says. He seems to always be spruiking the popular opinion - ie whatever will get the loudest cheer from the panel and/or audience of the show he's on. He seems to jump on whatever bandwagon the media is riding and speaks as though it was all his idea to begin with.

Admittedly I haven't seen him a lot recently so I have absolutely no examples to back myself up, but that's just the impression I got a while back and it has stuck.

Todd Greenburg has steered the Bulldogs ship through some terrible off the field garbage and taken a very negative club on and off the field into a more family friendly club, in the media at least. So the media pimping is keeping things as positive as possible. It would be interesting to see how he would go at CEO at another club including Souths to see if he is really as good as they say.

It's not as if the Bulldogs were struggling financially when he took over - for years they were one of the stronger Sydney clubs.

Yes, he's helped shift public perception...but for how long? A lot of the work he's done seems superficial and as schmix says all he seems to do is sway with whatever the bandwagon is doing.

I'm not saying he's dreadful or anything, I just don't think he's the BEST CEO in the NRL like he's made out to be. He reminds me so much of Searle.

I have no doubt he's doing a good job for the Bulldogs.
His public persona does strike me like a politician approaching an election - plays up to whatever audience he's fronting. Not saying whether that's good or bad, but I don't think he's ever said anything of substance and I think you'd be hard pressed to know what he stands for as far as the broader game is concerned.

I do get the impression he's grooming himself for a tilt at the Independent Commission in some capacity.

That's because he doesn't need to. Broncos face hardly any competition for membership numbers and have a huge junior base. They virtually have a whole city to themselves. With 11 clubs in NSW, Greenberg is doing a top job, if not, the best job.

There's nothing stopping CEO's from other clubs nabbing the talent in SEQld.. i'm sure it happens all the time.

This notion that the Broncos have exclusive rights to every young league player in QLD is really getting stale !

You do know that most NRL teams have a feeder club in QLD.

I hate him, hate his attention seeking and hate how the Bulldogs are more or less a club used to store players. They seem to produce less than anyone else these days, they just buy, buy, buy. No real identity. Still, objectively speaking he is doing a great job at keeping the club alive.

The Bulldogs are now worse than the Roosters, in trying to buy a Premiership.
