Yes.

We also host the final if we lose to the Cowboys.

That would put us into a match against Storm/Dragons to take on the winner of Roosters/Sharks.

So that essentially makes us....3 wins away from our first Grand Final appearance since 2006.

The players must be pumped

If all current positions, and corresponding results hold (according to position)...we are 2 final wins from the gf..and next week is, to a degree, of no real consequence...although playing, and sticking it to, the gummyguppies in the first round should be nothing to ignore or pass up on. We run the same time as the chooks next week, so just need to give rd 26 our best shot.

WB, Kev, mooks, alf, staff have to have the boys focused and relaxed going into rd 1.

Kevvie's approach with the halves at present seems ok, and WB is proven at finals prep.

Ultimately - all up to the boys, however.

Anyone know which day 2v3 plays?

Going by the schedule listed on the NRL.com site, Sunday.

Edit: Had a look at the 2nd vs 3rd clashes in the past couple of years, it's been on a Friday. So it will be Friday.

Plus, Fox-Sports posted this article which made it look like the 2nd Qualifying Final (2nd vs 3rd) would be played on Friday.

http://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nrl...ht-becomes-clear/story-fn2mcuj6-1227500707111

I assume that's how it's meant to go, despite Big League having it set out like

Friday
1 v 4th

Saturday
5th v 8th
6th v 7th

Sunday
2nd vs 3rd

I assume that since Big League hasn't set out any specific times for those games, they're simply placeholders.

4th are playing twice in the one weekend?

Can't help yourself can you?

Just looking at the NRL Season Guide, the reason why it's set out the way it is in Big League and on the NRL website is because of the way they can explain the brackets.

It just looks neater if you have the two qualifying finals on the outside.

I think he's referring to the last match being 3rd v 4th instead of 2nd v 3rd.

E: and I was too late. This post can stay here as a salute to misunderstandings and slow trigger fingers as I have nothing else to add.

I figured as much.

I'm sure all the Storm/Bulldogs/Rabbitohs/Sharks fans were thoroughly confused and couldn't figure it out for themselves either.

Those fanbases were never the brightest bulbs in the Lighting aisle at Bunnings.

SF do you know how many tickets members can purchase?
I've already had some new best friends asking if I can get some tickets for them as they are likely to be in very high demand.
Any idea on prices as well?

Well it used to be 6. But I'm pretty sure they changed it that you can only buy 10 per purchase.

Prices, it depends on where you sit.

White - $10-$30
Blue - $20-$30
Maroon - $30-$40
Gold - $50+

Concession rates would drop the price.

Broncos members can get discounts, but I was told you have to go to the box office pre-game and buy them there to get the discount. Which is completely ridiculous. I don't see why they just can't give you a code to use online.

And yes, they will be in very high demand. Finals at Suncorp are always 40k+ crowds.

Sorry to sound a bit slow but do you mean it's 6 per season ticket but only 10 in total regardless of how many season tickets you present at the box office.

I have a maroon season ticket so will probably get that category. $40 - $60 doesn't sound too bad.
