The memory doesn't go too far back, I'm sure there were some for GT and Langer from 98-02 but I just cant remember specific games... off the top of my head:

3) 2005 game 2 State of Origin
I think it is probably the best game I've seen Joey play. He had just came back from an injury and there were doubts. Lose this game and QLD win the series. It was all Joey that night and he killed. I remember the night well because it was a very disgusting night. However, credit where credit is due and in context... it was one of Joey's best and he admits himself he considers that game close to his heart.

2) Langer 2001 game 3 Origin
The whole team fired up that night there is no doubt about that but once again the context is important and the little champ produced one of the real special highlights of RL history to date. It will forever go down in the history books and memory banks as a real special moment for RL fans and especially QLDERS I suppose. A couple of plays that night really defined his supremacy... he was at the end of his career but it was a real special game.

1) 2006 Bulldogs vs Broncos prelim
Hands down. Arguably the best game of RL I've ever seen to date and most certainly in the last five years. It is the stuff I love to see in team sport. Down and out. Gone. Busted. Another play off series looking all too familiar for the Broncs. Darren Lockyer - led the team and stood over the battlefield...victorious. 2006 was really something special and this game was the real memory for me. As Asotasi said after the game "When he slotted that last field goal I looked at him and it was like he was Jesus... it was like there was nothing he could not do."

Can't argue with those ones. Andrew Johns. Barf.
I'm too young to remember King Wally, but I have heard his deeds.

2006 - Game 3. Lockyer grabs the ball at the death and we win the first of 5 SOO series in the row. Snatched from under the Blues noses. Again. Nice work Locky. Same game Johnathan thurston seized his moment brilliantly to show and go and set Tate away down the wing. Still the only team I've seen my brothers in law hug - the night we won that game.

2006 - Grand Final. Shane Webcke's last game, comes on in the last 10 minutes and plays arguably the best football of his life. Lifts the boys who are tired, inspires us and we hang on to win.

2008 Game 3 - I think, correct me if i'm wrong - Petero Civoniceva and Steve Price tackled themselves to a stand still. We withstood wave after wave of NSW attacking sets on our line to win the game & series. Two true QLD champions.

I'll just throw one in.

2004 Tri Nations Final. Quite possibly the most dominant display I have ever seen from Darren Lockyer. He dismantled the poms, absolutely brutalised them, and at half time the game was over.

Re: TOP 3 games where a champion has led their team to Victo

Actually not to be a Debbie Downer but watching the 2006 Prelim final Lockyer's first half was really ordinary - a lot of rushed passes that resulted in errors and rarely places pressure on the opposition. I'd say he definitely took the game away from the Bulldogs mid-way in the second half but my MVP was definitely Hodges who along with Civo was the Broncos best in that difficult 60 minute period.

Mine...

Darren Lockyer - Queensalnd Maroons - Game 1 2001 - If ever you wanted to see a highlight package of Lockyer as a fullback, I recommend you check this game out. From the second set on, Lockyer is an absolute maestro and while I wouldn't award him a perfect 10/10 it's definitely an 8 or a 9 in my book.

Jarryd Hayne - Parramatta Eels - vs. Canterbury Bankstown Round 20 2010 - Hayne has had a number of great performances including a few against the Broncos but this performance stands at the most recent and was a true exhibition of athleticism, talent and even defence. A brilliant performance by one of the games most talented.

Todd Carney - Sydney Roosters - vs. Brisbane Broncos Round 20 2010 - Without the aid of Pearce and Myles it looked like the Roosters had their back up against the wall but in one of the performances of the season Carney rose to the occasion bambloozing the defence with his agility and his long passing game finding the Broncos short on plenty of occasions.

Plenty more, but these come to mind straight off the bat.

Origin 1989, Wally Lewis. The game where QLD lost half the team to injury.

Agree with that Dogs/Broncos game from 06, my favourite game of NRL footy, ever.
