I know what he was saying mate. I was simply saying that, while it looks good, they've been in the same position for the last three seasons and sod-all has come of it so far.

Barrett and Tupou won't turn them around. Barrett was a good player, but he won't provide them with any more direction than Kimmorley did.

Exactly. It's not really direction they're lacking. The likes of Bird and Gallen build the basis for an exceptional back row.

You wanna see Cronulla's problems? Take a look at their backline. For some reason, they aren't targeting that area and they wonder why they can't score points!!!!

Agreed Mick. Pomeroy and Kearney are the only ones with a rep jersey, and the latter was only through a few injuries. I'm talking about City v Country of course. Simmonds is useless, Covell is the self-professed slowest winger in the NRL, and Taulapapa and Brown are fringe players at best.

I wouldn't touch Barrett unless he wanted 40K a season and was willing to play for Waterford demons.

Barrett is nothing, will never be anything more than what he already achieved.
