I won’t comment on the negatives but the left edge defence has been great. Wouldn’t be mad if we keep those guys for round 1.

Lee and Capewell have transformed that edge defence.

Walters is by far our best hooker and 5/8th so far..... the nepotism siging is proving us all wrong!

All our signings have been awesome. Very happy with all of them so far..

Add Reynolds kicking game and direction (particularly inside the attacking 20m), haas' power in the middle, get Kelly out of there, and get some metres in staggs legs and we will absolutely smoke some teams this year, not even joking. ..

Couldn’t agree more.. I had major concerns of favoritism, though based on what we’ve seen in that past two games he seems to be the best decision maker out there. We’d be unrecognizable with he and ReyRey on at the same time.

Lot of errors and fatigue in that half, but the potential is there with our full team. Turpin, Kelly, Oates not helping their cause. Cobbo looks good, but slow? Left edge looks good - forwards doing great too.

Nice to see us not concede a try on the stroke off half time. Hopefully that is something that carries over to the regular season.

Hopefully Reynolds will give us more direction when we're attacking the try line, we still seem clueless there.

I think Billy Walters has to be in the side in round 1. First shot at the 6. I'm not ready to write Turps off until we see how he plays with Reynolds.

Few little 1 percenter things I've noticed so far...

The inside pressure is a lot better on the edges, our pressure from the edges has been great along with our line speed (capewell is the leader here for sure), we hold them down longer in our 20m (especially the 1st 2 or 3 tackles) bcos we have finally realised a 6 again there is lot less painful then a broken defensive line, when running out of our end we FINALLY are putting a decoy runner in front like the panthers do so well, and we are protecting our kickers (despite the shit kicks)...

More I see Turpin more I see the same average plodder from last season, mediocre service from dummy half and no real danger when running from there.
