Kick Off at 5:15pm

Good question, I have a vague memory of an article talking about how both Josh & David are his younger brothers but this is going back a few years.

Kotoni Staggs is Hodge's player to watch.

We're underway.

Broncos kicking off.

Fauid forces a goal line drop out.

Good first set from the Broncos after a nervous kick return.

Loose pass from Dray and Russell ends up spilling in the tackle.

Knights working it out of their own half.

Newcastle receive a last tackle penalty for an escort.

Newcastle go close on several occasions, but Allan shows Gibbs the sideline.

Broncos scrum 10m out from their own line.

Fauid puts Staggs through a hole but the pass is called forward.

It was tight, but I'm willing to give the referees the benefit of the doubt.

Brisbane making good ground through the middle, they are looking vulnerable down their left hand-side in defence.

Now Birch tries to strip the ball from David Fauid but loses it forward.

Newcastle force a goal line drop out, they're starting to get the better of the Broncos.

Birch comes off but this Huth is a quality player.

Poor kick from Hope, Brisbane really needed to earn a repeat set there.

Brisbane have the better of Newcastle in a lot of facets, but their kicking game is letting them down.

Surprisingly good defence in this game so far.

Great try to Whitbread!

Looked to be tackled 5m out, then found a second wind and barged over.

Great stuff from Whitbread. Also, I'm certain he is from Tweed Heads not North Tamworth lol
