So we only have 2 options? Keep a bad coach, or reinstate an arrogant, old and out of touch coach who walked out on us before who has sinced left 2 clubs in a worse state then when he got there? Those were our only 2 options hey?

There's a 3rd option, and that is get a different coach. I dont know who. Thats not my job, but i do know it looks like we took the easiest, and most short term option there is, regardless of how much it will **** us long term.

Look at the knights right now. Bennett will leave them with (i think) the oldest roster in the game. They will be a mess for years to come and its all thanks to bennett and his dad's army he brought in

Not trying to cause an argument, but don't you think you should have an alternative solution in mind? If Griffin or Bennett isn't the right choice to you, who should it have been?

I definitely don't agree with the way this has come about. Say one thing do another, re Bennett. What if Griffin takes this team deep into the semi-finals? He should have at least been given until our season was over whether that be by not making the 8 or losing semi-final winning premiership.

because by the time we'd have exited the finals in the first or second week or missed them altogether we would've missed the boat for 2015.

I'll be surprised if any Knights players come to Brisbane with the possible exception of Boyd who is a fine player. Ive heard he's Origin standard. Other than him and he'd only be 50/50 the only other player maybe a lower grader WB may have his eye on. There will be several complacent players nervous in the Brisbane camp and that should get them motivated for the seasons remainder.

By the way...the same thing happened to Bennett in 2008. Mid season they announced Henhack as coach for 2009 and in 2008 we came within one game of the GF. Bennett honourably saw out his contract. He had to contend with speculation leading up to his sacking and HE HAD A GOOD RECORD !!!!! Griffin has no such claim although the last game we played showed what could happen with a better team balance. It's a sad indictment of Griffin it took three players getting dropped and so long to happen.
