What do you all think about a tipping comp next year?

I was planning on running a tipping comp on here for next season.

I wouldn't be using the NRL.com site for this, it was constantly down last year. People would just PM me their tips, and I would tally them up after the round is done.

I wouldn't be taking part in this comp. If people think I would manipulate the results in any way, I will make sure that I take a screenshot of every PM and send them to an admin to confirm it's all good. Or I would just tell them to check my PM's..

There are 3 different prize categories.

1st - $200 gift card to either whatsyourteam, the NRL shop or the Broncos store.
2nd - $100 gift card to either whatsyourteam, the NRL shop or the Broncos store.
3rd- $50 gift card to either whatsyourteam, the NRL shop or the Broncos store.

If you don't want the gift card, I would be open to just giving you the money and you spend it on whatever you want.

I was wondering if this would be something people would be interested in taking part in, so I posted this thread to see how many people would be interested. There is no point in running a comp if no one takes part...

to save you time you could always use a website like:

Footy tipping, AFL tipping & NRL tipping competitions

just set up a private league (so it requires a password to join) and it will pretty much do everything for you.

you can also customise it how you like...

All of it comes from my pocket.

And just to add a bit more info for everyone, I'm going to use a for & against system to split people that are on the same points. I'm just not sure if I'll do it for every game or just one game each round.

Plenty of time to sort it all out, though. It's good people are interested in this.
