Well, with Glenn's try, there was also that effort from Bird to move from one side of the ruck to position himself on the same side as Milford, outside Glenn, which helped distract the defence. It was a good move, one that a few sides use regularly, with one of their halves moving across to the same side as the other, making an extra man, while the ball is being passed out wide.
It showed something creative is possible whether it was Bird, or a set play. Pity it was Bird's only creative move of the night.
This is one key area where our attacking coaching needs to focus, on our halves working together, getting combinations happening.
