Nashy I can't agree more mate. At this point im hoping these rumours of norman going to parra are true, at least the 'origin hopeful' will be someone elses problem

The loyalty card will do no good on Norman as it might with Hunt.
Norman is toast at the Broncos if he isn't named at 1 for the season opener. Barring injury, he won't get any time at 6 throughout the first half of the season and will sign with whichever desparate club in NSW wants him before 30 June deadline.
He'll play QCup for the rest of the season even if Prince, Wallace, Hunt, Capewell and Kodi Nikorima go down if he signs elsewhere.

I hope that's the case, judging by the way hook treated Beale and teo I'm sure he will let him stay in the side unfortunately

I disagree ....strongly.
I think Norman should play 5/8 and Prince at half.
I can't see Brisbane letting Norman go, Hunt yes.......Norman, no. The guy has got skills. He played to what Griffin wanted him to play in his first full year by concentrating on his running game. If in doubt...run the ball. Sure, sometimes he starved his outside men. Sometimes he also found holes. Given another year, I think he'll start to find when to run and when to pass.......NRL experience.
.........he's got something. He's not useless.

We should stick with this for at least the first 6 rounds.
If Hoffman becomes a problem.......that's what Kahu is for, isn't it?
If Norman is the problem, I guess Wallace will have to slot back in (not that he will be able to do anything outstanding either) with Hunt, Baptiste or Granville taking the 14 jersey.
If Kemp or Marnata aren't cutting it, Berryman or Whitchurch........
I'm starting to get settled on my team now.......

Well I for one am perfectly comfortable with Norman going to Parramatta. 2 reasons. 1, I think he's useless. 2, Parramatta and Ricky Stuart are the least likely to turn him from a mediocre player into a great one.

Norman has had more than enough chances to prove himself as competent. He can piss off as far as I'm concerned.

Get your hand off it mate. He's been playing first grade for 3 years now. Just because last season was his first FULL season doesn't change the fact that he consistently plays like a ballbag.

Norman doesn't have the skills to read a game. Although individually he is very skilful. That says to me he can't be in the spine. Leaving only centre if he bulks up a little although he would still be a defensive liability. He can kick and he can break a line well though. Maybe he will be able to read game in a few years but he doesn't deserve a spot at the moment. Both Wallace and hunt are better options. I personally wouldn't mind hunt getting a shot in 6 and Wallace being Maccas sub. I don't believe hunt is any good at hooker. But I'd be perfectly happy with Wallace in 6. Although if so I think Macca should play 80.
