I really hope it isn't true, Reed in my opinion is the week link in the team and if he is captain there is no way he will be replaced in the centres by Kahu permanently.

Reed flew down since he's on the injured squad and has nothing better to do. Wayne had him do a similar press bit for the Auckland 9s.

Tariq and Mannah aren't captains either.

Mannah is the "club" captain, so he handles all the off-field events.
