To be honest, Reynolds not being able to produce try assists has probably been the biggest criticism of his career and likely why he could never really play much rep footy.

His role has changed over the years, though.

When he first started out he was producing 17-19 try assists a season, but you can see a gradual reduction over the years as his role changed and he became more a game manager instead of playing a more off-the-cuff style which he likes to play in his first few years.

He’s got try assists in him.

What would his try assists in conceding tries be? Top of the pile I’d say, which had absolutely nothing to do with the size of his pay packet. His professional never matched his talent which is evidenced by his constant unfit state. His lack of effort is something which was right throughout the squad and

Reynolds isn't really the kind of bloke to put players away for a try.

He kicks into corners, repeat sets, 40/20's and as we all know he can bang a field goal from half way. He's a game controlling half, probably the best in the league at it too.
