Just to bump this thread, Now that hodges is out, It seems hayne may be picked.

If so will he also be removed from the fiji sqaud to play for aus? that would be truly unfair especially this late of a notice.

Hayne is about the most overrated player in the universe, it's a disgrace if he is picked. There's got to be a winger/center from Manly who deserves it more.

I read today that Hunt is being considered as a possible replacement. Seems like a waste of a selection IMO with Stewart, Slater and Gidley in the team. Why don't they bring Jennings back into the squad, or even Kemp as a bolter.

Knowing Ricky Stuart though he is much more likely to bring in that nuffie Pomeroy.

Some people said Boyd last year shouldn't have been in the Broncos first team, and now he's playing for Aus LOL, he's a generic player, they could have picked anyone else over him really.

Not many choices out there at the moment after the other teams got their wingers sorted, at least Boyd has Origin experience. Obviously Quinn and Turner also have Origin experience but given Bellyache isn't the coach, they won't get their free represtative ride. Would've gone with Kemp if it was up to me.
