I liked Lauit'iti. He was damaging out wide and could hit hard in defense.

A little more consistency and he would have been in my top 17.

Meh. Another player with great talent and an inability to apply it consistently. Needed a coach who could get the best out of him. Preferably a tall, skinny, balding one.

That is an orms team and probably one i would go with. I started to do my list and realised everyone was from QLD so didnt bother in the end, but i love that team

Andrew Johns, Brad Fittler, Wally Lewis, Cameron Smith, and a few obvious others were *this* close to the team, but I didn't want to name players way out of position or on the bench when they would never have played a game off the bench in their life. I went for a bench that I think would be a possibility in this day and age (ie. no halves etc)
