Your Broncos greatest ever XVII

Alot of people have chosen Hancock. I always thought Carne was the better winger when they played together.

So many greats to choose from but here we go:

1 Lockyer
2 Carne
3 Renouf
4 Hodges
5 Sailor
6 Kev Walters
7 Langer
8 Webcke
9 Ker Walters
10 Civionceva
11 Tallis
12 Thorn
13 Carroll

14 Plath
15 Hohn
16 Cann
17 Lazarus

Carne was flashier, but Hancock gave his all for the Broncos, something that is FAR too often in short supply IMHO, particularly in recent years...

Bennett basically gave him the arse for his final couple of season and just through sheer hard work, determination and desire to play for the Broncos, he forced his way back in and made Bennett pick him.

That's why he makes my team. Same with JYY. He was a superstar already who would have done anything for the team, still would and would never go against them under any circumstances. Hence why I almost didn't pick Tallis.

He may have played well for us, but he has no loyalty to the club at all.

Hancock was a great who definitely bleeds maroon and gold and that's why he gets my vote.

I don't see the problem, Kerrod was so good he could play both positions at the same time . Interested to know about this Tate Folau bloke though.

Out of our current team I think only potentially Anthony Milford could make this team.

Tunza was a gun, but Parker was definitely better IMO.

I don't know if he was better but for the balance of the team, having Parker play from the start is much better than from the bench. Carroll would be a nightmare coming on off the bench.

I agree about Carroll. Better Utility value of the bench.

KHunt and Folau would be right in this if they hadn't decided to go to AFL. If those two had played at Red Hill through their primes I think we'd have another 2 premierships.

Nobody ever wanted to run at Tunza. That bloke hit hard.

He was the perfect bodyguard for Lockyer.
