What do you think about rewarding a zero-tackle to a team if its defensmen performs a clean catch of an air ball (before it touches the field)?

Arguments:
1) This would bring more spectacular catches as well as more spectacular uncatchable kicks. Actually, every possesion would end with spectacular performance: either clean cath or master's uncatchable kick.
2) This rule would force kickers to use more horizontal kicks that are faster than vertical high punts, because players have to run fast after the ball, istead of waiting for it falling down. And the ball movement would be more unpredictable due to rebounds from the field (that is an aim for a kicker).
3) Horizontal kicks more spectacular but less far then vertical high kicks. And it is good. Because now if you have a good kicker it doesn't metter where you got your 5th tackle: on your 40m or on opp 30m. In any case after a high kick your opponents will start from their 10m. This is kind of unfair. If we provide such a zero-tackle it decrease the average distance of the kick. And teams would capitalize each defended meter at the start of their attack.

Forgot about one more argument:
4) Vertiacal kicks (like bombs) are much more dangerous. Thats why there is a rule of fair-catch in Rugby-union and NFL. This zero-tackle rule would force kickers to use it less.

I would rather we just get rid of the zero tackle..

It's a ridiculous rule, especially in golden point.

It's bad enough that they're already punishing tactical kicking by giving teams 7 tackles if the ball goes dead.

They do it so teams are encouraged to score through the hands more, instead of just going for the kick every 5th tackle. In Golden point, it also encourages scoring through a try instead of a field goal.
