I'm not entirely sure what this means for Vidot honestly..

Maybe he's acknowledged that he's not wanted and will try and sign elsewhere for 2016, but has also realised that nobody wants him for the rest of this season, so he just has to suck it up and play ISC (Or for us when we are decimated by injuries)

Or maybe Bennett has changed his opinion of him... who knows, we'll have to wait and see if he just gets immediately demoted once Kahu is back

Two extra forwards, one who can hit in Oates and both he and Vidot are great metre gainers and make it so much easier for our forwards. The make up of the team now is getting closer to the set up we had with Sailor and Tuquiri....mmmm, nice. I'm hoping Vidot can emulate Marantas efforts on the wing and be safe first and good defensively. Truthfully, we shouldn't do anything other than go hard straight up the guts and I have no doubt there will be plenty of chances off the back of that.

We will be on a wet track at night so I don't expect much fluency just a solid slugfest in the middle, our strength in this particular game. I think we will win by 20+ with it getting easier to score at the end of the game.

OR.....WB may never have had a bad opinion of Vidot, just didn't see he was needed. I have never heard WB say Vidot was rubbish but I have read and heard speculation. WB doesn't look stupid now because he never said he wouldn't have Vidot in the side, that was others talking. I wouldn't be surprised to learn WB has had a proper sit down with Vidot and both know way more than the clever pundits.

Going off early spwn?? It is tomorrow night.
A bit like other parts of my life  I've lost track of what day it is too many times this week. Bring on the long weekend.

As soon as Kahu is fit, Vidot is back to Ipswich.

True, which makes this game even more interesting IMO. He knows he is not part of the top 17, so how he performs tomorrow will show what his mentality is really like.

Vidot has the chance both he and quite a few on here crave. Lets see if he can kick the door down and make himself undroppable.

Very disappointed Kahu is out when he had a chance to shine in attack. Maranta's best attribute as a young fullback was support play and breaks through the middle of the ruck, hopefully we will get to see this tomorrow night. Running off Parker offloads

He makes a lot of metres.. Because that's what wingers are paid to do.
They are also paid to handle the high ball and convert opportunities into points, there is more to a wingers game then metres.

He reminds us of the broncos wingers of old.
Sailor and Tuqiri (From my perspective I come from the generation when the likes of Hancock and Carne came onto the scene so they aren't really the older generation to me lol)maybe but while they could make the metres they also had the speed, better ball handling Enabling to convert opportunities into points and ability to handle the highball.

I wouldn't say obsession, at least in my case.

He came to us at a bargain basement price when our backline stocks were hurting. Never gave us less than 110%, never left anything in the tank, and obviously loves the club.

Has some weak points but gave it his all last year. Personally, I'd hoped he'd get a good shake this year and take his game to another level. I thought he'd earned the right by virtue of his efforts last year.

Still think he's got more upside than Maranta, who appears to be finding a little form himself. Daresay Vidot could do the same, given the opportunity.

I must have missed something here. I thought Vidot was no longer wanted by the Bronco's and he is looking for a new home. It will be a wet track tomorrow and I can't see Vidot having his heart in it, having been called up as a last resort. Given the injuries and Titans at home, this could be closer than you think.
