Stupid money. Storm have half their team missing

Yeah but still can’t underestimate them. They are a very well coached team that do their homework on their opposition. They will know our weaknesses and they will do what they can to exploit that.

Coates marking up on JAC scares me.

If we do win, could the win be taken seriously? Could we really think of it as a turning point for the club?

They are missing 3/4 of their spine which happen to be their best players and one of their most consistent forwards.

We will be missing Staggs, Carrigan, Lodge, Gamble and are carrying Milf. We will also be playing with one hand tied behind our back salary cap wise, so yes, it would be a serious win.

Especially after that effort in Melbourne where he left JAC a metre space and got burnt hard. Showed his inexperience.

Yes and no. We can only beat who is in front of us so if we can get a win and can say we've beaten the roosters and the storm back to back, you'd think that will certainly help the belief of the side.

Having said that, they are missing a lot of their key players so I think when push comes to shove they would still comfortably beat us.

Yes. We couldn’t beat a drum 4 weeks ago. Beating any team, especially back to back can be taken seriously. Especially if it’s roosters and Storm. This same depleted storm team gave Canberra a spanking.

I’ve got no issue with us Bradbury’ing our way up the ladder. Teams are imploded all around us, we could run in the end of the season with no goal keeper.

Would have thought knowing Kennedy was crook this week we would have kept a forward, or at least lodge in the reserves. We are essentially playing with a 3 man bench, Copley won’t get on unless we lose a back. Oates at least has some versatility.

Why the **** is Copley playing. Surely we would have been better off keeping pikura ready to play if we knew that Kennedy was a possible withdrawal

Don't need 4 forwards on the bench. The game has slowed down a lot over the last few seasons and we're only without 4 of our usual forwards. :kimlo:

You would think that you would always want back and one forward as 18 and 19.

Lodge is suspended so we couldn’t do that.

Seems as though Piakura hasn’t recovered completely. He’s not even named to play ISC.

Massive test of our forwards deapth here. The difference between the good teams and the average ones alot of the times is when you have a big list of players out, the replacements just stand up and get the job done, i.e Melbourne.

I'm looking at Flegler tonight to do some hard yards. If lodge is being shown the door then this kid needs to go to the next level. He's almost got 50 games under his belt and he came into the NRL absolutely on fire and has just flat lined.

I think he needs 150+ run meters tonight. I just cant see where our go forward comes from otherwise we rely basically on Hass and TPJ. Time to earn your 600k Thomas.
