I for one am super glad your not involved in recruitment for the broncos. You do realise just saying you don't want him at the club would have done the job.

Offending players with ridiculous offers would do our club (which is currently struggling to attract quality players) more harm than good.

You and me both buddy

I would like him to be at Broncs with strict conditions but would not be paying anywhere near that amount of money he was on at the raiders.

If he really wants to turn over a new leaf and join the Broncos.. then he should be on the minimum salary of 75k.

Yeah, that would be really attractive to him. While they are at it, they can set him up in the heart of Logan. C'mon Dave, if they sign him up and he turns into an instant success, u will be as overjoyed as the rest of us.

If we're getting Dugan I can see why we're letting go of Norman, we simply have no room for him in the team, he's not a centre or winger.

Did they say if Norman will be gone this year ?? I'd be very surprised if we let him go mid season.
I hope Dugan can play for us this week :D

I heard somewhere the other day that dugan himself (as in not his manager) has contacted the broncos about coming. To me that is a good sign. If he can stick up his hand and realise he needs to improve his attitude and really by into our culture he could be amazing for us.

I'm super excited about the prospect of Dugan joining us. He'd be our most exciting signing, since Folau. Mid season is even better! I'd say we're a top 4 chance with someone like him at fullback in form.

I do agree with what Tallis is saying though.

I think alot of that is attitude. Injuries are injuries, i mean who foresaw copley being out for a year. End of the day though who cares if he gets injured lots of players do, get the support staff to manage his injuries better. This team is a game breaker short of being competitive, dugan is a game breaker

The big Dugan discussion

Dugan is a risk but one we have to take. Hodges is aging and Yow Yeh was great, but who here would be willing to bet he can become a game breaker again?

Signing Dugan is almost a necessity, caused in part by us letting our junior star back go last year.

... Dugan CAN be a game breaker ... we also need some mongrel back in the side, with the exception of Hodgo and Moose, I sometimes think our guys are too "nice" ... I can't stand Ennis, even when he wore the maroon and gold ... but he gets in people faces and sometimes you need that stuff.

I agree he'd probably be the most exciting signing since Folau, but do you really think he's going to make that much difference to our overall team? I personally think the broncos problems exist around the halves and hooker area. You could put as many good players as you want on the field for the team outside those positions, but if they don't get good service from those 3 players, it's not going to make much difference.
