I've been one of his biggest supporters ever since he came into the side on the bench, but I mean, how many chances does one person get? It's similar to Khawaja in the Australian cricket team, everyone knows he has a good technique and potential to be a good player, but he doesn't perform often enough to warrant selection every game.. I haven't writen him off, but I certainly aint expecting miracles from him next season.

Wait..you're asking how many chances can 1 person get..yet you're saying Prince, who's been there the whole damn year, should stay next year? You make no sense.

Tell me how the refs cost us the game. it wasn't the refs holding the panthers down all day. It wasn't the refs that couldn't mark the dummy half.

We were ordinary and the coach, captain and Hunt are too blame. The only positive was Maguire, Stagg, Oates and Hoffman.
Notice he said it was the refs AND our defence...

We need an on field leader so bad. Yet another obvious decision that needs to be made but Griffin won't do it. Parker has to be the on field captain.

Parker's break being called back. Held call on Reed. Coote's offside. These all came at crucial times if the game when we were putting pressure on our needed a pressure release. The foots offside was the worst. It was still 12-12.

Hunt was okay without being terrific or terrible. He still showed some good signs and Prince was good too.

The BIGGEST problem is our defence, particularly through the middle and just on the fringes. Those Seg tries were bullshit. Tasi and Lui were dreadful in defence and Thaiday is so fucking lazy on the fringe it's embarrassing.

We need massive work on our defensive structures for next season. Our sliding defence is fine, but through the middle and the fringes is very bad.

Our forwards got dominated, our defense was poor and our rookie halfback is to blame. That makes sense to me.

It blows my mind how often he passes to the exact opposite direction we need the ball to go. I mean even if he wasn't thinking, it still should be a 50/50 chance. Does he think he's being clever by going the other way?

And he is so fucking slow....... He would be in the bottom 2 hookers in the game with Keating (eels)

I thought Hunt had a solid/decent game, fairly mixed, but for people to blame him for the loss is absolutely ridiculous. He is the only player in the team who has vision and actually plays real football. He just needs time, he has only played, what, about 10 or so games as starting halfback.

Blame the defence in this game, particularly the defence in the centre, absolutely abysmal. Whoever's decision it was to hire Kearney as defence coach needs to be sacked. Absolutely horrible season (barring the last few weeks), almost glad it is coming to an end.

He has given us more than Wallace gave us this season in the 7 and he was bound to have a slow patch, I know we need to blame someone for the loss and the 'new' half is an easy place to start. However he gets us points at times when normally we wouldn't have got them.

The worst thing about this forum is coming on after a loss and seeing threads pop up singling players out and trying to work out that one player who 'cost' the game. Before it was Wallace, now it's Hunt. What about the guys who don't aim up in defence? or the guys who don't throw that extra pass or run that right line? We have a team full of quality players who when on their game can tear other teams apart, the issue is they aren't gelling and staying consistent. That's not a problem with the halfback or even the hooker, it's a problem with something behind the scenes that as couch/seat fans (and face it, we are all nothing more) we don't see.

It wouldn't surprise me with this exact team and the right coach we could win a comp, unfortunately we don't seem to have that coach anywhere at the club and it's rubbing off on the players.

Do you even watch games? Prince has been one of our best players over the last 2 months, open your eyes.

Yeah, he's been pretty good for the last 4-5 games..you know..with Hunt as a partner. Just ignore the fact that most of the 16-17 games BEFORE that were absolute shit.
