And then go and repay it week after week with lazy, dumb, pointless shit. Never learning from giving away cheap penalties, eventually giving two penalties away in a row, when you were warned that the next one would be a send-off. The team looked fucking better without you there, but they had their energy sapped, with the opposition eventually scoring because you, you fat piece of shit, after letting the team down so badly, were slack as shit out of marker and allowed the opposition through.

You don't deserve the captaincy, you don't even deserve a fucken Broncos jersey. Just **** you.

On the positive side, Oates looks like a fantastic prospect. I just hope he isn't going to be wasted on the wing, which he probably will, if we keep Griffin.

Do you honestly believe Thaiday has earned the role as captain in the side? I think he's barely been in our best 13 this year, he's had a couple of good games around origin time but apart from that he's been slow, lazy and completely useless, giving away far too many penalties, always making timely errors, always whinging to the referees about stupid shit.

Boys started the game extremely well, but everybody was guilty of making clutch errors at crucial times and we just gave Newcastle too much momentum. Referees were terrible too but what can you do.

Focusing on the positives - thought McGuire was awesome tonight. Ran hard and made some really impressive 1%ers. Deserves a ton of credit. Thought Macca did some good too although I hated the dive and am totally filthy on him about it. Thought the 20 was one of our best in sometime, they went out their with some intent and were looking fairly smooth in their play. Still a lot of teething problems that need to be ironed out.

Oh man, I told myself 12 rounds ago that we wouldn't make the finals this year and I thought I was prepared but **** me that sucks. From 14-0 to 18-26 is just deplorable, especially for a home game with only about 30 Newcastle supporters.

After that game I just got a feeling that Thaiday may get replaced as captain next year as he was truly a disgrace to the club. He isn't a leader and he isn't a "smart" man so I think his captaincy has died this season, a positive from a negative if you will. :)

Fair enough all I was saying is Brian Smith is a good coach to get a club going right, you just don't want him longterm cause he couldn't win a premirship if his life depended on it, but his still a shitload better then Griffin ever would be.
