Queensland 2014 Line-Ups

Love the team except for McQueen who is not in great form. Id have Te'o starting and Lillyman on the bench. I get the theory though that qupta of extra mobile forwards won us games two and three last year and Parker, Myles, Scott, Te'o, Papalii all played tight for periods last year and I imagine will again.

NSW dominated us in the forwards though.

Yep, deserved, he is an absolute gun and can play anywhere from lock to centre and of course second row. Guerra is an excellent line runner.

He has been one of Roosters best for a while now. I know they have been shit, but he hasn't.

A combination of incumbency and his ability to defend on the left fringe. JT needs a minder and since mot of Queensland's talented backrows play on the right, he gets the nod of approval.

It's these type of selections that seperate Queensland from the Blues. The Maroons pick a team keeping in mind the strengths and weaknesses of their side. Meanwhile, NSW just pick a combination of their perceived best 17 and even they can't get that right.

Has a very nice pass to him as well. Did you see the bullet he threw for Minichello to score on the weekend? Hoffman couldn't do that in 1000000 attempts.

I imagine he'll operate down the left hand side, which is going to be very potent given his running game and passing ability outside of JT and instead of Inglis. Boyd will score more tries in the 3 Origins this year than he will in the 22 games he'll play for Newcastle.
