As much as I appreciate Vidot's metres out of our end, it's not worth the trade-off imo, 12 point turn around on handling errors from him alone tonight.

Would've been 18-18 if he scored in the corner and didn't drop the bomb in the Tuqiri try.

I really don't have much to say. I expected us to lose anyway but conceding 42 points when our season is on the line is just disappointing. Truth be told I'm in next season mode now. Only a miracle will get us to the finals.

Terrible night from the usual suspects.

Vidot and Maranta are both useless in what matters most to a winger. Our second row needs a serious rocket because they're supposed to be of representative quality and are putting in plodder performances, especially Gillett.

Tell Kennedy if he wants to stay next year, he's playing for 2 meals a day.

not if we win 3/3 to end it..

well that was just frustrating. we bomb two tries (barba and vidot) and they get two tries from direct errors by ourselves. once vidot dropped that ball the heads dropped and it was pretty clear souths would score next and skip away.

aside from a 20 min period where souths were on top with their power game i didnt think they were all that good.

if vidot catches that pass it could of been anything. we were well on top at that point and cutting the lead to six who knows what may have happened. but yet again we are let down by simple stuff and lack of polish.

souths get a few simple tries from kicks at the end and the score is a massive blow out.

very dissappointed.

C'mon the Cowboys!

Seriously, if they win the premiership this season's pain will almost be forgotten. Oh, to see Rusty cry like a baby for 1 more year...

I think after last week we could have beaten anyone........except the Bunnies they are just too good. Hoffman, Vidot and Maranta made mistakes at such bad times

We are seriously just a below mediocre football team.

Can't wait until Bennett implements massive changes and fixes this mess. We are a disgrace.

I've been saying all year that Vidot making meters doesn't make up for his bombed tries. That's three at least he has dropped with the line wide open. We lack quality wingers who finish well. I don't care if he makes 10m a run. He is in the team to score tries and he is shit at that. Let's give somebody else a go. Another thing that pisses me off is McGuire never offloading. Doesn't even look to offload even if he has support and has broken the first tackle.

Also, I have serious concerns about our front row in general. You can't be comprehensively outplayed like they were tonight and hope to be a premiership force.

We played like the Bulldogs did last week...

We seem to play good one week, then replicate the oppositions performance in that game the following week...

vidot sucked major ass tonight. for a guy who's meant to be a metre eater and is bulked up to do so, why the hell does he do that stupid jump start thing before he hits the line. he should be steaming onto it at full speed. hodges needs to be 5/8th for the rest of the season now that hoffman is dead. it was a breath of fresh air seeing hodges pass those short balls to a hard running back rower.

hook has seriously lost the plot

i actually thought during the match that for mcguire to really become an elite prop he needs to add an offload. im not trying to criticise him as he's been great all year but thats just something he needs to learn to add to his game.

re front row: its simple and i've said it all year. parker needs to play lock and we need to stop playing favourites to thaiday/gillett/glenn and actually play with two props with parker in the middle.

Now what we need is fucking props....**** off the edge forwards and just roll through the middle...you saw it work tonight....now maybe just maybe some of you guys will work out that we need metre eating forwards and bloke who don't get stood over by bigger teams.....rant over

anyone else notice that whenever parker offloads it mostly goes to McCullough who is too slow to do anything with it? barba and hoffman need to be lurking around him every time
