josh hoffman must think he's god's fullback gift to the world. first he didn't want to play wing and wanted out and somehow convinvced hook he's better at 5/8th. that was a bust so now he's going to the titans to be a fullback again and at the same time he's turning his back on his cultural heritage because he didn't get selected for the team. glad he's leaving the broncos. fucking sook
 
Best thing for everyone, we don't have someone who doesn't want to be here and the Titans get Zillman half a foot further out the door.

I'm just glad Bennett isn't a huge goddamn bitch like Griffin, and doesn't bend over and present himself for Hoffman.
 
Was it ever confirmed that Hoffman (or his management) asked for a release last year or was that just media speculation?

Back on topic, best of luck to Hoffman. He might be able to bring some good to the Titans. He has a lot of experience that might rub off on their younger guys. Imo, all this discussion about Barba, Boyd, Millford etc in the number 1 jersey could have been a moot point if Hoffman had kicked on. He's had years and multiple opportunities to really cement that fullback position and make it his own and hasn't been able to do so, so with that in mind I don't think he's been hard done by.

I thought he was an absolute revelation as a winger with some sublime touches and expert finishes - it seemed like he'd found his calling. But if he thinks he's destined for greater things as a fullback then I don't blame him for going where those opportunities are. I hope it works out for him.
 
I'm pretty sure I read in one of the articles that his manager confirmed that they asked for a release but were denied last season.

Cool, thanks. I wonder if it would have been granted if we managed to secure Milford this year....oh well, it's all academic now.

I don't mean to seem contrarian but in my opinion that looks like one of the weakest back lines in the comp.

Add Sezer and Mortimer and I think the titans are going to struggle again next year.

Cross Roberts off the list
He got arrested this morning on an alcohol binge. The Titans will sack him over this. And its his 3rd strike so he may struggle to be picked up again

I think that's precisely what Griffin planned on. Stinky Stuart didn't play the game though.

Imagine how different the Broncos, and Griffin, would have been perceived last year had it come off.
