I thought markers were allowed to knock the ball out if the dummy half has the ball in hand?

Agreed 100% Bull Shark but on this...

While a lot of their players made their first grade debut at North Queensland or really came of age there...11 of their GF 17 actually came through other systems.

yeah, thought I might have been a little off the mark in terms of my wording on this .. Basically what I'd like to see is teams like the cowboys and our current group, and even those great souths & roosters sides from a year or two ago be able to run the course ... The NRL is a phenomenal product nowadays in terms of what these athletes do on the field, but imo it lacks some character in terms of teams / clubs being able to really cash in on their persistence and planning with their players ..

You're welcome to name your form centre/wing combo instead of having a go at me.

lol, well I'm looking at at least two in the current game I'm watching ....

scoring hattricks and beating up on shit teams at home doesn't mean jack to me .. I'll take the players who've been there and done it in successful teams in big occasions thanks ...

It's still too early in the season for there to be a blow-away centre/winger pairing but Leilua/Rapana wouldn't even make my Top 10. Rapana has been one of the best wingers in the competition, I think we can all agree there. But Leilua has been god awful and has been a liability for the majority of the season. One good game against Nathan Milone doesn't change that.

Good win Cowboys. I know what the ladder says but they're the form team at the moment and unless they get absolutely wrecked in Origin I can see them in the grand final qualifier.

Yeah, I listed these 2 combinations in my post, in case you didn't notice lol.

I find it interesting that you base the form of current outside back combinations on the previous success of their clubs though, that's rather odd.

Cowboys are definitely the form team of the comp. They are playing as well as they possibly can at the moment in both defence and attack.

We are just doing enough to win each game really, no more, no less.

Rubbish.

26-0
53-0
30-8

That's not what you call doing just enough.

That's the problem with having periods in games where we go a while without scoring, our standards are so high we see it as a weakness.

I can't believe that Arthur and Norman are whinging about the sin binning. it was one of the most blatant professional fouls i have ever seen.

Norman even tried to tell the ref he was just going for the ball ...

I agree it's a bin offence, but **** the sin bin is so poorly and inconsistently handled by refs.

Which I think is what Arthur was getting at tbh. Still poor form though and Norman can just go EAD

That's the only problem I had. They're just so inconsistent in using the bin.
