Fortuitous timing this. After a few disappointing weeks we bag a win against a quality team, hopefully playing ourselves into form.

Titans are gutsy but overmatched most weeks. If we come out with our heads screwed on we will trample them.

Following few weeks aren't too bad either : Souths (A), Panthers (H), Manly (H), Tigers (H). Golden opportunity to go on a run here.

Regarding our line up next week, I think Kodi should get the shot. I have my reservations about his suitability in the halves next to Milf but he's paid his dues, let him state his case.

If not Kodi, think Scarlett is a better option over Murphy. Seems a bit more of a natural half with a well rounded game. Murphy is a goer but strikes me more as a 9 than a half back.

Moga is obviously a big talking point. Like most I was livid with his first half but he did alright in that second half. Still, I'm seeing defensive lapses and lack of awareness in attack week to week, hard running alone is just not cutting it. He's welcome to earn himself a recall but from what I've seen, he needs some time in Q Cup, see if he can rediscover some of his mojo.

Some question marks over Kahu at centre but Mead was very solid last night. I think we give the backline a shuffle and see how it pans out.

I think moga showed signs he can attack and defend. He just needs to read the defense better , and like i said before he is trying to help milf to much. The try to Ferguson he was sitting on milfs shoulder and let fergo get on his outside , and fergo will beat anyone in that position. I remember one jack reed being owned by fergo, some people have short memories.

Jack Reed made up for his **** ups.

Sucks that Hunt isn't playing.

I had finished the Hunt vs Taylor video. I was waiting until this round to upload it. Now Hunt isn't playing.

That first time Fergusen broke through to put Aubusson over highlighted the big problem that left side has had all year.

Moga went left to fast and Milf was isolated once again as a result. It's been happening all year. Moga is repeatedly out of position.

I really would like to see what a centre wing combo of Oates-Mead could do.

It's gotta be a tough job covering 1.5 positions though, no matter how good you are.

Why can't we just have a good left centre... Doesn't even have to be a gun just someone who's not polarising who we have to weigh up perceived strenghts and weaknesses...

Everyone on the sack moga train ! So many jockers who need someone to bag. Wonder who it'll be next week !

I'll take Jack Reed with a busted shoulder and a broken leg a thousand times over rather than poor Moga. Jack Reed forged out a decent NRL career, Moga isn't capable of doing the same.

Moga's defence in the first half last night was disgraceful - it was certainly not first grade standard - not even QCup standard to be frank. The bagging of his defence is completely warranted. He's lucky Milf broke Mitchell Pearce and for whatever reason the Roosters stopped going down his side. Will be interesting what Wayne chooses for the Titans. I'd like to see Mead in the team up against his old club.

In regard to Moga, everyone has a game where they're found out, It's how you respond that ultimately dictates what sort of player you will become. Bennett made a perfectly valid point about Moga not dropping his bundle and improving in the 2nd half. I don't think now is the time to move him on, we can afford to wait and see if the improvement and confidence continue to rise.

We had a good centre in Jack Reed and a lot of people under appreciated him

Reed was good but defense suffered with his shoulder injury. Definitely a good player but too injured to continue.
Copley is still great and his defense seems a bit better. 3 tries in 2 games at left centre for the Titans. He didn't wrap up Tuivasa-sheck properly though.

Moga'a defence was poor but you can have off nights. He was hard to stop in attack but he looked to have no idea when to pass and when not too. He'd either get tackled when he should've passed or passed when he should've ended the play himself. Looked very confused when it came time to make a decision which also resulted in him never really fully committing to anything. All of that can be fixed though.

People keep talking about Kahu being a liability defensively at left centre but I'm not sure what it's based on. I always thought Jordan is a great defender. I think he is the perfect centre. His slick passing game is wasted on the wing, and he isn't as fast as most wingers.

regardless who plays half, I'd be tempted to start oates off the bench and use him as an impact runner later in the half. I think the main threat from the titans is the pin point kicking of the halves, especially taylor. Mead looks very safe under high balls and would be a lot faster getting back for grubbers. Oates would be perfect for thaiday-esc runs later in the half when the other forwards are tired. I havent seem him offload, but thats probably more to do with his wing play and whats required on those runs. I reckon its wide open for who plays half next week, but theyd want to play well, because knick looked good with the ball in hand, although i cant remember him doing a lot of kicking, but he'll need to. I'd say if scarlet plays a solid game puts in a good general play kicking display he might get it. Otherwise itll be knick.

What about Oates to the bench if we're starting Niko or Sims is out? Moga was shocking in D in the first half, but his runs (someone ITT said he ran over 250m? That's absolutely yuge for a centre) were bruising, as was his D in the second half. Surely he gets another go against a shit house backline.

EDIT: You can't drop Mead after last night's performance.

Not at all , but it seems that there is always a scapegoat even when we win . He is 23 in a new team and is rd 6 , a little patience maybe .

Let's see how well we play with a busted reed then . What fucking rubbish ! How do you know he won't?
