2017 Line-Ups

Please I watch plenty, need new forwards in keeping Myles will be a mistake and most likely cost us for not only this origin series but the next to come...

Do you watch Origin footy?

Tell me the last time Myles let down QLD. His club form has always been average at best, but once he puts on that QLD jersey.. He proves to be a vital part of our pack.

Gotta say, don't see all the hubbub about Norman. He's a better player than he was a few years ago, but he has yet to lead the Eels to a finals series, and his solitary finals game with the Broncos ended up with us being pumped. His stats this year aren't eye popping either.

Have you been watching for the last couple years, he has been the worst performing forward in origin just check the stats... We are better off blooding new and better forwards

Forget club footy, origin footy is different. Nate turns into a different beast in origin football. He hasn't let the side down once yet

If it comes down to blooding Wallace or myles then myles as long as napa and Hess are introduced. 3 new forwards is a lot and have to admit there is something to the qld ethos of picking and sticking that works and brings out best in guys like Myles.

I find Napa to be incredibly overrated.

Yeah me too but at the same time, I reckon he would be Myles-like in that you just know he's going to go up a gear for that level.

That said, I would think Wallace has done enough to at least get a bench spot this year. Hess, as good as he is, has time on his side and waiting one more year is not bad.

I admit I don't know their stats but just by watching Wallace seems to be a far more effective ball carrier than Napa.

Wallace for me deserves to play Origin this year.

I think Hess will be picked. He's going too well at NRL-level to be left out. Every game he is monstering defences.

On form if Daley does not pick Vaughn and Don he has rocks in his head.
Vaughn picks himself and Don is in irresistible form, just doing all the little things right. Let's hope Laurie does the usual and ***** up in the selection room.

They wont pick Don.

From a Qld perspective I think Oates misses out for game 1.

Wallace deserves a bench spot for QLD honestly, he's outplaying Napa hard this season. Routinely grabbing 200+ metres. If I was picking the QLD side based on form / reliability, it would probably be -

1. Slater
2. Boyd
3. Chambers
4. Gagai
5. Holmes
6. Thurston
7. Cronk
8. Lillyman
9. Smith (c)
10. Myles
11. Papalii
12. Gillett
13. McGuire

14. Morgan
15. Thaiday
16. Napa
17. Wallace
