Mid-air tackle 1. (b) It is illegal to tackle an opposing player attempting to field a kick whilst the player is in mid-air. The catcher must have returned to the ground before being tackled. (See Section 15.).Applies only when a player on the non-kicking team catches the ball on the full.

The 2nd half gives me cause for a lot of optimism.

Still do not like McGuire at lock. He might make some metres but an offloading lock is the go. I'd prefer to swap McGuire and Blair.

Milford really lifted in the 2nd half, in fact, everyone did, and it showed. Kick chase needs a LOT of work. Kahu's goal kicking was important to the team, as was his defence in the 2nd half.

Against a very very good side playing good football, a really good outcome. Now all that's needed is an 80 minute performance of commitment.
