I didn't read the in game thread during the game. Going to head over there now as I'm sure there will be some lols early on.

Probably good call in the end not playing Fai. Such a close game and if he was to make an error to lose the game his confidence would be shot to pieces.

What a 2nd half. I'm blaming the jerseys for the first half, once the boys got used to those awful colours they played like the broncos again.

DCE was grubbing up all night in the tackle and ruck, not just with the drama queen performance.

Factoring in results going certain ways, this comp is hurtling towards a three way lead. Assuming the Sharks beat Cows, we smash Wests and the Storm lose again to Souffs:

1. Sharks - 16 cp
2. Storm - 16 cp
3. Broncos - 16cp

And **** all F/A difference

I recall Ben Barba getting the same thing done to him against the titans a couple years back costing us the gsme, moral of the story is catch the ball kids.

Always ... but after it bounces, I believe you're fair game

I think Milf ended up with a points win over Cherry popped Evans

Thank **** Bennett was able to get these boys heads back in the game at half time. Much better all round and may of ended an origin debut for NSW.

So I shouldn't be too surprised that leagueunlimited are blowing up about it?

The rope-a-dope strategy backfired for the Broncos in the opening exchanges. I don't think there's any other team in the competition that starts as poorly as the Broncos and yet manages to score first. It's like they need to deprive the opposition of a try before they can click into gear. In this exchange, Manly scored three very soft tries, causing the Broncos to panic and blow opportunities.

In the second half, they just took it down a notch and were rewarded early. That try to Anthony Milford was a huge moment in the course of the game, getting the Broncos on the board and giving them some belief. Manly fought back well, but the Broncos managed to scramble well and when the opportunity arose it was the 1%ers that made all the difference.

The Sea Eagles are a fair footy team. They can trouble any team in the competition with their attacking footy and their goal-line defence can be inspirational. However they struggle to put it together over 80 minutes, usually due to ill-discipline or just positional errors. Once Trbojevic spilled that ball, the Sea Eagles heads dropped and like a lot of teams finding their way, they kept making cheap errors, enabling the Broncos to run away with it.

I thought the right side really upped their game in the second half, Sims & Thaiday were a real asset off the bench and I thought our spine players came up with some good options at crucial moments.

I thought we were awful. Two tries that basically won us the game came directly from errors. Our attack was hopeless. Was a painful watch to be honest.

Appalling first half. Much better second half. Not happy with that 80 minute performance but I'm happy we take away the 2 points. That's all.
