Maybe that's why we're not breaking the bank to try and keep guys like Kahu, Ese'ese, Moga & Arrow.. Need a little bit of extra cap room to squeeze in Ash for 2018 when the Titans inevitably release him on compassionate grounds after he signs a 5 year deal with us on November 1.
107 days to go

I really like Kahu and would be disappointed if he left. That being said, I think Isaako could slot right in without us losing too much.

We have genuine wingers at the club, I would rather we give the spot to Pearson.

We would be hindering Isaako's development playing him on the wing. He has already said he is willing to bide his time at the Broncos until a spot at fullback becomes available, so let's use that to our advantage and keep Isaako in the QLD Cup to develop his game for when that time comes.

We need to play the best people we have in each position ... not play someone who isn't as good, but may be in several years, just because you are afraid of losing that player.

Bit late on Blair
Blair is already confirmed as saying he isn't leaving Brisbane. Likes the way we run things up here and is in it for the long haul. With Ese'ese leaving I think we are about to commit long term to Ofa.

**** some of you guys take Kahu for granted. The dude has some serious talent and is a gun goal kicker. Always a very handy addition to the side when he is in it and is so versatile. Not too many players can cover multiple positions like he can at the drop of a hat.

Can't see Kahu leaving, he's been through plenty with this club.

Why does this shit with Blair keep popping up... he's not even off contract.

fox sports (a more reliable source) claimed last week that we were close to re-signing offa. I'd say with Ese out the door they will be ramping up discussions to keep offa at the club. Would be absolute incompetence if we lost Ese, Arrow, Offa and Fai in the one year.

We're one of the few clubs that could let that happen though. Outside the basketcases of Tigers, Knights and Parra, we're next in line for doing dumb shit like that

I agree with most of this sentiment, I don't agree that he can cover multiple positions though.

Any time he's played Centre or Fullback over the last couple of seasons he's been poor, he always tries his hardest, but his lack of speed and defensive awareness in those positions absolutely kills us every time, he's a specialist winger, I think Wayne figured that out last week as well.
