Opacic will be a quality centre if he can get over the shoulder problems and be given time in the squad.
Whether it's at the Broncos or somewhere else, he'll be a regular in the near future and will be prove a lot of people wrong. Unfortunately, I can't see much opportunity at the Broncos right now. If Bird isn't making the transition into the forwards this season, then he will take that left centre spot and he is a waste on the wing.
Whether he wants to wait another year, we'll see.

I know Bellamy rates him very highly and has been trying to take him to Melbourne for a good couple of years now, but he wants to stay at the Broncos. Funnily enough, they fancied him at lock!

Milf is slim at this time of year. He seems to put it on over the season.

That's not right.. At this time of year is when he is overweight coming back from the off-season break. Over the season is when he slims down.
It's been like that since he came to the Broncos.
The fact that he has come back from the off-season break in good shape means he is starting to take this side of things seriously.

SALESI Funaki has set himself for a big trial season next month as he chases his NRL debut.
The 22-year-old has been in the Broncos' system for two years now, and last year edged closer to a debut as he was named in extended squads of 21 for matches.
The powerfully-built forward has been playing with affiliate club Wynnum in the Intrust Super Cup.
But after working hard through the pre-season, he is keen to be knocking on the door of an NRL call up.
The trial season, which starts with a Feb 10 match in the Central Queensland town of Theodore, will be central to that goal.
"It is exciting and it is kind of scary as well," he said.
"It's been a long time off the field so I am keen but anxious as well.
"Obviously I'd like to try and have at least a couple of games and make my debut this year."
Funaki said the departure of players like Adam Blair, Herman Ese'ese and Jai Arrow left gaps in the roster that needed to be filled.
"I think there is a lot of opportunity for us younger guys - heaps of older people left," he said.
"I think I have matured as a person as well.
"It was a massive confidence booster (to be close to making the team last year), but I obviously can't stop now."
