Anyone watched the Newcastle storm game... whats the bet Darius will put on a performance half as good as Slater or pongs.... 30 to 1?
 
Work is going to be unbearable if we lose this.

The amount of Warriors fans that have crawled out of the woodwork and claimed to suddenly love league this season infuriates me.

I have one mate that I only hear from when the Warriors beat the Broncos haha
 
I live in Auckland, so this is the only game I get to go along and see live every year. Last two years it's been in the middle of Origin season and we got pumped, which was bad but relatively justifiable. This year when I looked at the draw and saw it was round 6 I was stoked. "Full strength team" I hoped. "Competitive performance" I dared to dream.

How did we get here :( I'm preparing for the worst but hoping like hell for the best but it's hard to see.

My old man lives in Brisbane btw, last two times I've been up for a visit have been over weekends when we've played away (vs Storm early last year, vs Tigers this year) but I swear the next time I come up I need to coordinate it better so I can get along to Suncorp and wash the bitter taste of Mount Smart defeat out of my mouth.

Yeah thanks bro/s...but **** off. Put more than a handful of games together in a row and come back and see us.

I hear you guys need a defensive centre? Dane Nielsen is available. He would easily be your teams best centre one can only assume.

Unfortunately yes. There was a game a couple of years back where we won after being down with not long to go. He'd jumped the gun....

"How'd the Warriors go bro?"

What's the weather like over the ditch our Brisbane Warriors supporters? Just saw that there's heavy rain and storms forecasted this afternoon. Hopefully might restrict the Warriors offloads and keep the game a bit tighter. In saying that, Broncs have been struggling to hold the ball in dry conditions so this will be a challenge for them.

Looks to be a lot of rain on their radar. Wet weather can prove to be "the great evener" although the Bronco's record in conditions other than fine isn't very good especially when it involves cool weather as well. But it may hinder some of the Warrior offloads and flair. The cleverness of a Boyd or a Milf could prove invaluable today.
 
Anyone else just cringe the whole time watching the Broncos play wet weather games? So anxious about injuries but I agree with the above, it'll work against the Warriors. Just cut out the drops and get Milf to focus on his kicking game and kick early in the tackle count if it's raining hard, and we'll have a chance. At the very least some of the positional changes will be interesting to see and has me excited to watch.

The whole club have feet for hands at the best of times. Wet weather does not inspire confidence...
 
Dont know who it is, but i heard we have a center taking a fitness test this morning.

Edit - Dont think anything is happening with this, just checked my phone and i got the message about 5 hours ago, must have meant NZ time.
