First off, it's not a report worthy post. It did not break any rules or misquote you in any way. Even if he did misquote you, it's still not report worthy.

I just don't agree
CB could choose not to sign for any number of reasons
Ultimate humiliation would be something like CB not signing and then publicly stating that the reason he didn't sign is that he doesn't think the club is any good and the front office is full of deadwood
You see what I mean?
If the issue around CB is him wanting to start in 2019 and the only way we miss out on his signature is by not bowing to that demand and sacking our most successful coach, that shows the club to be honourable, it doesn't put egg on their face
Yeah I get that leaves them with a challenge to find a new coach, but that aint the same thing as having egg on the face

I would like to see how he handles the back end of the season first, but based on what I've seen so far, I do rate him. He sounds like a very clever coach.

The Rabbitohs were already a gun side though. They haven't lost much from when they won the premiership. Their issue was that they were flogged out. The Bellamy / Maguire "always up" mentality would kill any team other than the Storm. The Burgii twins are the best example of this. The last few season they've looked slow, tired, and unenthusiastic. Now they're back to career best form and they're destroying opposition packs. Sam even alluded to the fact that they still train hard, but when they need time off they get it, this was in the post-match interview the other night. It's making all the difference. Credit to Seibold for putting that in place but it was pretty fucking obvious what was killing them.

Seibold is a great teacher- literally he was a teacher. He's done a long apprenticeship at Storm, Manly and ISC as well as the Queensland gig. A lot of what he does just comes from good pedagogical practice.
You talk football with him and he speaks like a teacher who wants his players to learn, they will improve under him because that's the environment he fosters. Doesn't clutter his players' minds with useless stuff just principles that make his footy work. He's completely remodelled Souths' attack this year. Tactical Periodization is his big thing and transitioning from attack to defence- it's very interesting everything is done faster than a game at training so you are always above the bench mark.
Souths are playing very fast football and move quicker than teams between changes of skills.

Totally agree mate, I am aware of the point of the comp :)
But not winning it isn't egg on the club's face either
