To similar to what we have, plus he hasn't won shit so not much experience comes with him.

Gotta agree with you Pagey. As 'hard' as I am thinking about him and Milf together causing havoc, he is not exactly the game organising type we need is he?

Not at all , not that he isn't a gun. But we need someone who can control this team

Shaun Johnson just more or less confirmed that 2019 will be his last at the Warriors and he's open to offers for 2020.

Make it happen!

Direct swap with knik? Johnson at the warriors untenable for 2019

Who is a controlling HB under the age of 30 in the NRL? Arguably only Cleary fits the bill, and the jury is still out on him. Taylor is a certified myth, as is Moses. I doubt Keary would be able to have the season he had in 2018 without Cronk.

Not much about but spending money on Johnson is not the answer either.

Just as a side note, I did a bit of research today. The term, untenable, has been used in approximately 46 different news articles since the 7th of August this year. Surely this kind of usage of this particular term amongst rugby league journalists is simply untenable?

fucked up if true

Queue the Glenn & Kahu to Warriors rumours again.

Yeah, I think they might go for Nikorima.

NRL transfer window on agenda amid flurry of activity
Brent Read11:00PM November 28, 2018

Cameron Munster has re-signed with the Melbourne Storm
NRL coaches will meet today to discuss the possible introduction of a transfer window as a frantic few weeks of activity shifts from the frontrow to the playmakers and the plans of four clubs — Cronulla, St George Illawarra, Parramatta and the New Zealand Warriors.

The majority of the 16 head coaches are set to descend on Rugby League Central this morning — Brisbane’s Wayne Bennett is not expected to attend — following another day of frenzied speculation about player movement.

The Melbourne Storm at least ended any debate about the future of Cameron Munster, the Queensland and Australian representative signing a deal that will keep him at the club until the end of 2023.

Brisbane forward Matt Lodge is also expected to be confirmed on a new two-year deal at the Broncos in the next 48 hours, putting to bed talk he could follow Wayne Bennett to South Sydney.

There was more uncertainty elsewhere, most notably at the Warriors and the Sharks as Shaun Johnson was granted an immediate release to explore his options on the open market.
The expectation is that he will join the Sharks for at least the 2019 season, where he would play in the halves alongside Chad Townsend in a move that would allow coach Shane Flanagan to adopt the patient approach with his son Kyle.

The Warriors have already identified the player they want to partner Blake Green in the halves — Parramatta youngster Dylan Brown. It is understood the Warriors have expressed an interest in offering the former Australian Schoolboys half a long-term deal — he has at least another year remaining on his contract with the Eels.

The Warriors are happy to take a younger route with Johnson’s replacement given the experience they have in the other positions in the spine — Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Blake Green and Issac Luke.
Put this in here only for the reported Lodge deal.

Souths hooker Damien Cook is at long odds to join the Broncos.
Blindside understands Cook’s potential move to Brisbane will be thwarted by salary-cap pressures at Red Hill.
Cook has privately indicated to Brisbane-bound Souths coach Anthony Seibold that he would be prepared to play under him at the Broncos, but money is a major obstacle.
The Broncos have hooker Andrew McCullough locked in for another three years and will struggle to come up with $800,000-a-season to secure Cook.

Courier mail reckon Brisbane are shopping k.niko to the warriors.
No the slightest bit suprised and I reckon it’ll happen.
I actually said it a while back, when the reports of SJ not being wanted at the warriors surfaced..
Seibold may just be about to shake things up, and put some players on notice.
