That's definitely not how it works.
I assume he's saying losing Roberts and bringing Allan back would equate to more cap space, because obviously Jimmy is on more than Allan.

Seems to be the goods, but also comes across as pretty error prone. I'd put that down to being green. I wouldn't exactly put him high on our priorities list.
He seems a bit raw, with a lot of speed but if he could work on some bits of his game I think he would be a pretty good player. Not saying we will buy him, but he could be a future star. He’s only 18.

I think if Jimmy left we would most likely use that money to get a fullback, move bird to his favoured right side, and put Boyd at left wing.
With our current setup you can argue that Boyd has to he fullback because there's no one amazing to replace him, and no where really for him to move. But if Roberts left we would have a centre spot and Shibasaki isn't good enough to he a regular centre.

I really don't know about staggs. He tries really hard I will give him that, but he doesn't have much Xfactor to his game. He isn't overly big or fast.
Im fairly certain Oates and TPJ will stay. Im less confident we will retain Offa. He just never seems to have a huge breakout, and I'd suggest that there is more upside to people like TPJ, Carrigan, Flegler, Lodge, Haas, Fifita, Sua etc so of the forwards he would probably be one to miss out on a renewal. Considering Offa also likely would demand more than Glenn, I'd take Glenn just for the better leadership he offers and the pure consistency in his performances.
I imagine our 2020 side to he something like this.

You think he does? I think he's a good enough player. But just hasn't really done much with his opportunities. I don't think he's the player than can win the game for you from creating something out of nothing. Roberts has done that for us on multiple occasions.

Staggs is a natural footballer. He's not the biggest or the fastest, but he's certainly strong, can goal kick and doesn't give up. We need players like him
