This afternoon's was the worst one yet, but I think he genuinely tried to change direction and just had no acceleration and buckled. It was sad to watch and it surely has to be a turning point for the coach to make a big call.

I don't doubt that Darius felt much better coming into this season than in previous. The past few years he's had injury set-backs during the pre-season and this was the first he was able to get through. It's just taken it's toll and while there were some good signs early from Darius, he just has nothing left in the tank.

You’re a more generous judge of character than I, that’s for sure. I’m open to all possibilities. For me though it’s probably a little of both. His body is breaking down and he has little faith left in his ability to cover ground so instead of trying he doesn’t bother. A combination of self preservation mixed with physical inability. You may be right though and I may be unfairly targeting his character. I just find it hard to believe a physical condition exists which makes you slip every single time you change direction. Especially when you rarely see him do it when changing directions in attack.

What I am glad about though is that we agree that a problem exists and that something needs to be done to address it.

Just watched the post match presser, sounds as tho seibs knows that Macca is mud. He was saying jake will be in the 17 next week. When asked about macca he said we will have to look at what the team needs (or words to that effect.)
It was evident that he is well aware that turps needs to be our 9.
As for boyd, I don’t think he should be there, but I’m not sure we really have any other options. I have no faith whatsoever in isaako, other then that, I’m not sure who we could put back there. It’s worrying.
Probably shows that we really should be going after one of the many fullbacks the storm seem to have..
I hope so. I also assume that we are asking about one of their fullbacks, We fucking better be.

Can we just sign Drinkwater before June 30 so we at least have another option?

He's played 1 game of ISC this year and get this, he had as many try assists in his 1 game as Darius has in his 12 games of NRL so far this season, 3.

Played today in a badly beaten Tigers side, their only try was from his pass though.

I am watching it now.

This is all the evidence AS should need to send his ass back to Q-Cup until the cracks the sads and ***** off.

Wouldn't take too long judging by his personality I would've thought. He'd be gone sooner than Roberts.

@Lockysillegitimatechild. So Wallace is shit?

I'm happy to give him the benefit of the doubt because I don't think a professional athlete would be willing to out themselves in that fashion. Plus, ever since he did that hamstring in that Round 26 2017 Cowboys game, Darius has shown he can't push off his leg and change directions.

The problem is, I'm not the one that needs to be convinced and the Broncos backline stocks are dire. They need to make at least three changes and they only have Corey Oates to come in.

Many posters here have it spot on. McCollough at hooker is totally useless and has been for several years. Who the fk gave him such a long contract? Bennet? and of course we come to our forever liability Mr Boyd.. way past his use by date and on another long term contract.. who gave that to him.. daddy Bennet?. I applauded when Bennet came back but in reality he has fked the broncos over worse tyan any of our other coaches. If we have to keep them send Boyd to the bench and dump McCollough back to QC (or anywhere else). Pissed off at Seibold for not sticking with winners and supporting total losers like McCollough. Please coach do something about Boyd and McCollough if we the fans can see the shit they dish up surely the coach and bosses can to.

Except where he was talking about how Macca is an absolute pro...

Dally M coaches and super coaches love being stubborn, and don't like being told what to do by fans or media.

I think the Boyd non tackle looks poor but that video shows that even an x-men leap wouldn't have reached Roberts. Sure it's the lack of an attempt but **** me, you guys are hard markers. No way in hell any fullback could cover the distance. The truly appalling effort was from the two guys who let Roberts through.

I'm going to be the only one who will say that wasn't on Boyd. I do agree he should have tried to dive across and as the play moved across the field Boyd was correctly keeping pace with Roberts. After breaking through the pisspoor tackles he was a lot further away from Boyd than some supermen on here could cover.

Captain of the Boyd Apologist club here, folks.

Yeah but he never said he was good. Just that he had a good work ethic and attitude. He also guaranteed Turpin has a place in the team but when he spoke about Macca it was a “we’ll wait and see” type response. He also said Macca was only meant to play for 30 minutes and got more game time than planned.

I think him highlighting Maccas professionalism (which I don’t think anyone can deny) was his way of not commenting on his effectiveness. it was a very teacher like response. Turpin’s report card says “he’s one of our best students. He will go far” and Macca’s says “he tries really hard”.
