That was horrible. The second game i have turned off with 20 odd minutes to go this year. Its not the L that hurts as so much the display, that was put on out there.

It is no coincidence our game reverted back to pre Turpin and Dreadin in the spine. Maccas style just doesn't promote go forward from the pack. Milf goes absent, why? Is he not calling or is Macca not hearing what Milf wants.

Boyd turns back into a cripple and looked pathetic in the shed at half time. Sitting there like a defeated fool covering his mouth with a hand towel when he should of been standing like a man and rallying up the youngsters.

To be fair nearly every player looked slow and disinterested. Origin crash and maybe a early day game plays a part. As somebody who played the game in armature vill, I know your preparation has to be perfect for games outside normal time slots.

I think Macca and Boyd both need moving on. TPJ needs to wake the **** up to himself and settle his future with us or elsewhere because him playing to boost his contract worth is hurting his footy and my respect for him.

Turpin you get the 321 for giving me a smile and a bit of nostalgia when you remind me of Shaun Berrigan.

Couldn't agree more. Said the same thing at the game. Couple minutes earlier Brinson runs across the field and makes a try saver on staggs. Basically same situation and Boyd doesn't run. He never runs. High speed efforts per game would be less than 10. He doesn't look for offloads, is hardly involved in attacking playq anymore (literally sits on one sidq of the field and waits...) And we all know how fucking useless he is in defence and kick returns.

Just **** him off. Eveqyone is calling for it. No one likes him at the game. He's never in any social media posts or ever mentioned by players in interviews. I honestly get the vibe no one likeq him in the team either.

Many posters here have it spot on. McCullough at hooker is totally useless and has been for several years. Who the fk gave him such a long contract? Bennet? and of course we come to our forever liability Mr Boyd.. way past his use by date and on another long term contract.. who gave that to him.. daddy Bennet?. I applauded when Bennet came back but in reality he has fked the broncos over worse tyan any of our other coaches. If we have to keep them send Boyd to the bench and dump McCullough back to QC (or anywhere else). Pissed off at Seibold for not sticking with winners and supporting total losers like McCullough. Please coach do something about Boyd and McCullough if we the fans can see the shit they dish up surely the coach and bosses can to.

He's spent 3 or 4 weeks sitting in the box watching and learning how Siebs wants to play, then when he's on the field on attack he's shrugging his shoulders and asking the players around him what they're supposed to be doing next play. Macca has learnt nothing in his time off. His short runs were not exactly speedy and he went the wrong way on two occasions when we had numbers the other way.

I'm not blaming the loss on him alone, no - TPJ's effort was even worse, but Macca has to go back and do further "re-hab".

I said this in the live game thread. It shits me to tears seeing him turning around, arms in the air, asking for directions. You are one of our most senior players and touch the ball more than anyone else, you should bloody know what you are doing! Every game it happens.

To keep macca in the team is an insult to turpin who was the only one who gave it a go today.

The boyd issue, i am lost for words. Shibasaki couldnt catch a cold.

It is troubling how our game plan goes to shit when an 18 year old half goes down injured. I think those who were underrating his contribution could see the difference he (and a decent hooker) make.

It was no doubt a soft option placing himself in the passing lane in the hope of a knock down or intercept. That's the third time this year he has chosen that option and he's looked a goose every time.
TPJ needs to be put back to ISC, no doubt he is a match winner but the penalties, dropped ball and bad attitude aren't worth the occasional good game.
Macca, just no, ISC for you too, your time has passed .
What an opportunity went begging today. We could have been on the spring board to the top 4 and we find a way to lose against a poor roster .

On Deardens injury, that really annoyed me the way it happened . There has been a few this year caused by the defender being partially beaten then grabbing jersey and lifting their legs to make the ball carrier tow the full weight. The result is the defenders full weight swings back towards the attackers legs and traps them underneath causing injury.
I'm not suggesting anything deliberate it's just a newish thing creeping in and its causing a few nasty injuries.

I don't like singling you guys out, because there was quite a few people who sticking up for Darb at the start of the year, but you're the only 2 I can think of currently who were defending him.

Can I get your opinion on this effort? Are you guys on board with the rest of us now that he's literally just falling over on purpose to avoid having to make a tackle? I can't see any other possibilities.

I understand that other players are missing tackles which in turn is putting pressure on him at the back, but like.. yeah, he's not putting in a single ounce of effort when an opposition player makes a break.

It happens again..and again..really soft efforts. I would let this go if it wasn't his signature move for 2019. He's not up to the position of fullback. He saves that try, theres a good chance we might even win the game.

Let him rehab it for a further 13-14 weeks just to ensure he is 100%

Thats what i think with Boyd, he just doesnt have that agility and movement he used to have, which does make him a liability in situations like that. We need a fullback because i still think he is a useful player to have in the centers. We just dont have a fullback to replace him

I almost cried watching Tedesco play the Panthers today. It must be a fucking great feeling having a fullback who has the energy and enthusiasm, puts his body on the line in defense and comes up try savers, breaks tackles at will and creates opportunities on the back of it.

Then I turn my attention to Boyd vs Titans and best way to describe it is the club is practically playing with a handicap having him at 1. Add Macca at 9 and Your practically asking Milford to generate all our point scoring. If we were hoping the Gold Coast would take Boyd off our hands we are sadly mistaken. They have 3 guys already on our books who have played fullback who are all better (Gordon, Brimson and Roberts) Hell even Peachey would do a better job back there.
