Don't agree with TPJ being better in the middle. For me he looked our most threatening player on an edge last week and then looked like shit when he was brought back on as a prop. Teams would be laughing at the attacking 'threat' of a Glenn and Oates 2rf combo.
Disagree I think TPJ turned the momentum back to us when he came back on as prop.

The game is much simpler for him in the middle, just leads the line in defence and bash their forwards.

I think TPJ has been having a little bit of trouble on the edge... outside of his defence struggling on the edge, he doesn't seem to run decoys to create space for the fullback and center.

He kind of sits in the line waiting for Croft to pass him the ball whether it's meant for him or not so he ends up getting it flat footed. When the shape to the right is good he skittles them, but he needs to get his timing right because him getting it flat footed is pointless.

He's also been cut down by the halves a bit too much for my liking.. yes he ran over Kodi in the first 5mins, but I can't recall too many other big runs in his first stint (probably because his timing is off and he gets it flat footed).

Kurt Mann was cutting him in half in the knights game as well. He's the size of Kikau, but doesn't seem as lethal as him out on that edge.

Against big guys in the middle he drags a lot of defenders in to tackle him and then has the ability for the offload... I think combined with Haas that partnership could be deadly.

There could also be the option later down the track where TPJ's first stint is in the forwards with Lodge coming on as his replacement at 30mins and then plays out the rest of the game. TPJ's second stint could then have him coming on for Glenn or Oates to play out the game on the edge.

The injection of Oates was bad mainly because he dropped it straight away... Oates should see a real opportunity to lock down a second row spot with Fifita moving forward, but he brought a piss poor attitude into the last game.

Oates is more of a line running second rower and Croft put him into a half break last week, but there was no one there for the offload.

Both Staggs and Arthars are injured.

However there are other options. They could shift Isaako to fullback, Niu into the centres (swap Farnworth and Niu around) and you could have Kennar on the wing. Or shift Glenn to the centres, Oates into the backrow and just call a forward up to the bench.

You could just go scorched earth and call Vudogo in, but I'm not sure if he's even in the squad.

I suspect if they're fit, we will see three of those reserves come into the 17. Staggs will come in for Isaako (or one of the bench forwards with Isaako bench), Lodge would come in for Kennedy and we could see a change in the halves if Paix is brought in. Dearden would shift into one of those spots with either Milford or Croft dropping out. If not, I'd get Dearden out of the 17, he's not a dummy half.
One thing interesting about those reserves is that 3 of them are returning from injury with Lodge and Staggs still under an injury cloud.

So if someone in the 17 gets injured and the guys in the reserves aren't fit then we probably have to submit a request to the NRL.

FWIW I think Staggs is a good chance to come into the 17.

I believe he was injured on the Sunday after the Manly game (June 14) so this Saturday is right on 4 weeks since that injury which is the typical timeframe for hammies.

I think it was only a strain as well so he would be very close to returning... if Staggs is fit he's coming in and I think he started running last week, so I think he must be getting close

I can’t wait for Dearden to walk out on the club, while we still have that ploder Milford stinking it up in the halves.
One positive, we can use that $ to re-sign that fraud of a centre, Darius.

100% - his a gun edge forward, always targeting the little guys. I hope this is not permanent.

The coach is a goose and our spine is pretty shit but we will win this game for sure.

So which one of you was responsible for that
Can't take credit for that I'm afraid, mine would be even more shoddy of a job. Seibold and White will probably see it and think it would be a great video to use to rally support for the team 🙄

I doubt that Thelmus, Seibold would think they are too inexperienced to handle washing jerseys and cutting oranges.

**** me, well that team list is interesting at the least. Ugh.

So come to conclusion i wont be watching this game.

No changes bound for another loss.

Seibold’s only win this week was going to be everything leading up until the kick-off.

The result vs the bulldogs means nothing as far as I’m concerned.
